MEASURING SYSTEM FOR AN AUTOMATIC RUBBER COT GRINDING OR BUFFING MACHINE FOR MEASURING COT DIAMETER OF RUBBER COT ARBOR

Abstract Measuring system for measuring cot diameter of rubber cot arbour comprises on a box, an rubber cot arbour resting jaw having a pair of guide rods with pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder provided in the said box, measuring device(s) provided on the said box, said guide rods being pushed by the said cylinder for pushing the arbours towards a cot diameter measuring device(s), the said jaw being provided with a centrally divided bridge track unit with adjusting means.

This invitation relate to a measuring diameter of rubber cot Arbour. Which located (Fig-C3) between loading/unloading carriage and conveyer system. Including measuring device contact and non contact type and pusher cylinder. In Automatic cot grinding / buffing machine which use in Textile.
The known measuring system use in automatic cot grinding machine is combine with centre less rubber cot arbour holding and guiding device. Which directly effected to grinding sequence. Means to the measure rubber cot arbour diameter the arbour holds in arbour holder and holder take arbour to measuring device and measuring device measure the diameter of rubber cot arbour and given single to process unit. And arbour holder deliver for grinding or reject if arbour is reject arbour holder take it to eject. And wait for next arbour so this sequence take more time which effect directly to production rate of machine .
The basic purpose of this invitation to make measuring system to easy and fast for that try to seprete measuring system from centre less rubber cot arbour holding and guiding device and it is work individually as a mesuring system before and after grinding / buffing . This system is measuring diameter one side or two side. The measuring system work on principal of contact and non contact type of measuring device.
This Invention is explained in more details after ward with the help of the diagrammatically represented type models,
It is shown in accompanying drawing.

Introduction
This is the unit, which measures unfinished or finished rubber cot arbour diameter in automatic or manual functions by use of electronically, & pneumatic air controlled cylinder.
Construction
The construction of measuring system is aluminum molded light weight two side open box(14) with rubber cot arbour resting jaw(15) guided by two rods(16) slide in linear bearings{17) & pneumatic cylinder (18) which vertically or horizontally push towards measuring device (19) which is mounted on top of box. Measuring device means of contact type of electronic dial gauge or electronic probe or non contact type of digital imaging system or ultra sonic or laser type which giving digital or analog output. There is one adjustable in reference to centrally divide bridge track unit(20) constructed with rack & pinion or screw/nut mechanism(21) for adjustment as per rubber cot arbour gauge,
The construction of downward measuring device fitted.there is a one V type bracket given between measuring device. The rubber cot arbour rest on 'V and push by pneumatic cylinder.
