QUANTUM TURING MACHINE

Abstract A ring (R0) includes a ring main body (R1) made of super-conductive material and well-shaped portions (W1, W2) formed with a reduced diameter at least at two positions on the ring main body (R1). Phase difference solitons S between the super-conductive electrons existing at each of the bands are localized in the ring (R0) so as to obtain a quantum bit. By using the quantum bit, a quantum Turing machine is created. The quantum Turing machine can easily constitute the quantum bit and surely execute a basic logical operation. Moreover, the quantum Turing machine can perform multiple-bit operation and can assure sufficient time for executing quantum algorithm.
