PROCESS FOR PREPARING PRINTING INK PASTE

Abstract The present invention is used to avoid duplication and to identify original. It is mainly invented to make the forger’s job more difficult and to prevent the fraud, the use of security ink represent the part of the many, varied procees employed by the security printers. Security papers and printing technologies are equally important in this sphere of operation. The duplicators may not be aware that the paper and ink may have been choosen cause that they are difficult to photograph in combination. Such prints are not only difficult to photograph but very expensive to reproduce without the printer’s elaborate machinery. Apart from the reproduction of a geniune label there is another aspect of forgery known as ‘adulteration’. In order to ensure that sufficient bleed occurs water soluble media are used as the bassis of such inks. Formulations of this nature are used for a purpose of forgery detection. The said printing ink when chemicaly treated with alkaline it will undergo a colour change. Alkaline is relating to or containing an alkali; having a pH greater than 7, “alkaline soils derived from chalk or limestone.” A related clour change system will be used for the help of manufacture to prevent their label form duplication. This type of printing ink will be used for the pupose of security of the printed label, as well as the product. This type of ink can be used for the printing of labels on papers, tin, boards, by printing procees. A special type of ink paste is added in a proportion and final finished ink is to be used for printing of labels on a papers by printing proceess. After printing proceess the final ink shade comes in contact with any alkaline product, it shows the colour changing effect on papers, tin boards.

DESCRIPTION -
The present Invention relates to a process tor preparing paste for printing security ink The substractive colour mixture the relationship between the transmittance of a medium and its thickness and the stated density is propotional to the thickness of the colorant layer. The suitable mixtures of three colour lights generaly red, green, blue it is possible produce a cosiderable range of colours from process of printings. The ink is printed in white base that is substarte and light passes through the ink film and is reflected from the base. It is nessesary to achive a selective absorbtion by the ink used for each colour which will produced at least metameric match to the orignal. Printing plates made from , negatives in which the image is recorded clearly on to the printing plate. The inks are some times complitly absorbing as it dependnace on the substrate use. The printing ink is a mixture of Pigments (Organic + Inorganic), Extenders {Calcium Carbonate(Caco3) + Aluminahydrate (AI203.3H20)}, Varnishes (Linsed Oil + Modified Phenolic Resin), Dryers {Cobalt (Co), Manganise (Mn) + Lead (Pb)}, Waxes, additives as per requirement, which added in the following proportion :-

• The said mixture of all i.e. pigments, varnishes, reducers, dryers, waxes, extenders to form the printing ink.
The coloured pigment or pigment blend for a particular printing ink is selected to provide the shade and resistance properties required of the finished ink. Pigments also impart other properties to the ink and they influence Theological properties of flow, viscosity, etc. The pigments are manufactured to have easy dispersion chacteristics and these improvements have served to assist changes in mixing technique and machinery. Easy dispersion pigments require lower shear forces in order to obtain dispersion. A litho ink of high viscosity and high tack is undesirable, particularly when printing on weak surfaced papers. Distillate is normally added to the ink by the inkmaker during manufacturer, but as the viscosity difference between a litho ink and a printing ink distillate is large, ease of incorporation is aided by the formulation of a paste. Such paste
reducers are often made available for adjustments to the ink tack and consistency in the

press. The main function of the tack reducer is to reduce the tack as it depends on the
formulation.

According to the propotion mixed together of the particulars they are grinded together by the procees of triple roller. Then it is to be packed in a tin, this ink is in paste form. The present invention is used to avoid duplication or to recognize orignal. Its is mainly invented to make the forger's job more complicated and to prevent the fraud, the use of security ink represent the part of the many, varied procees employed by the security printers. Security papers and printing technologies are equally important in this sphere of

operation. They may not be conscious that the paper and ink may have been chooosen cause they are difficult to photograph in combination. Such prints are not only difficult to photograph but very pricey to duplicate without the printer's eloborate machinery. Apart from the reproduction of a genioun lable there is another aspect of forgery known as 'adulteration'. In order to ensure that sufficient bleed occurs water soluble media are used as the bassis of such inks. Formulations of this nature are used for a purpose of forgery detection The said printing ink when chemically treated with alkaline it will undergo a colour change. A related colour change system will be used for the help of manufacture to prevent their label from duplication. This type of printing ink will be used for the purpose of security of the printed label, as well as the product. This type of ink is used for the printing ;of tables on papers, tin, boards, by printing procees. A special type of ink paste is added in a propotion and final finished ink is to be used for printing of labels on a papers by printing proceess. After printing proceess the final ink shade comes in contact with any alkaline product it shows the colour changing effect on papers, tin, boards. The said printing ink will be used for Offset, Letter Press, Screen Printing, Metal Decoration, Flexo, Rotogravure Process, etc. Offset ink is used for paper printing by offset printing process. Offset inks are oil based. The printing ink is a mixture of Pigments (Organic + Inorganic), Extenders {Calcium Carbonate (CaCo3) + Aluminahydrate (AI203.3H20)}, Varnishes (Linsed Oil + Modified Phenolic Resin), Dryers {Cobalt (Co), Manganise (Mn) + Lead (Pb)}, Special Chemical as mentioned below, Waxes, additives as per requirement. As per formulation weight together in pot and mix together by hand or mixer, then give three to four passes by triple roll mill till it becomes homogeneous paste. Testing is done in the lab according to the standard. Then it is to be packed in tin for dispatch to the printers for printing on paper by offset process, etc. For special purpose, chemical is added to get some special results. After addition of that chemical we get some special results of which is used for security.

special Chemical :- Phenolpthalein Indicates, Thymolpthaline & other.
Phenolphthalein is a chemical compound with the formula C20H14O4 (often written as
"HIn" in shorthand notation). Thymolphthalein is an acid-base (pH) indicator. Its
transition range is at approximately pH 9.3-10.5. Below this pH, it is colorless; above this
pH, it is blue. Its molecular formula is C28H30O4.
Alkaline is relating to or containing an alkali; having a pH greater than 7; "alkaline soils derived
from chalk or limestone".
I claim to be the true, first inventor and exclusive owner of the said invention. I am in
possession of the invention.
