Abstract PHONE CALLING BY USING AN INTELLIGENT NETWORK The invention provides a system and method for realizing the calling of dual mode mobile phone by using an intelligent network. After the service user becomes a subscriber for calling process and called process in the intelligent network, when the dual mode mobile phone enters the work range of the access point device, the access point device dials to the service switch point device, triggers a service of the service control point device, and records a number of the access point device, a number of the dual mode mobile phone and the information of the mobile phone registered in the access point device. When the dual mode mobile phone moves out of the work range of the access point device, the access point device dials and triggers a service of the service control point device through the service switch point device, and the registration is released. The dual mode mobile phone makes a call out after registering, and the access point device changes the calling number and dials to the service switch point device to trigger the process of the service control point device. The process takes the number of the dual mode mobile phone as the calling number in the connection message, and connects the calling party and the called party. The calling party dials the number of the dual mode mobile phone and triggers the process of intelligent network at the service control point device, and the process changes the number and joints to the dual mode mobile phone through the service switch point device and the access point device. The dual mode mobile phone of the invention can communicate with any telephone in the existing communication networks without using its home wireless network.
Full Text FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to a system and method for realizing calling of dual-mode mobile phones in the existing communication switch system, more particularly, to a system and method for realizing calling of dual-mode mobile phones by using an intelligent network. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
A "dual mode" under Blue Tooth protocol, WLAN protocol, and so on is supported in mobile phones of GSM, CDMA, PHS, WCDMA, CDMA2000 systems, etc., which enables mobile phones to connect not only to telecommunication wireless networks for communication but also to data networks or computers, and facilitates the mobile phone users to maintain information and set individual styles in their mobile phones.
However, directly through Blue Tooth protocol or WLAN protocol, a mobile phone in prior art cannot randomly take a call from or make a call through a telecommunication network such as a fixed telephone network or GSM network. Furthermore, the communication cannot be realized at places where wireless signals do not cover, such as in buildings. It is inconvenient for the users' communication, and the existing network resource could not be fully utilized.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The object of the invention is to provide a method for realizing calling of a dual mode mobile phone by using an intelligent network, so that the dual mode mobile phone can communicate with any telephone within the existing communication networks without using its home wireless network. The invention also provides a system for realizing such method.
To achieve the above object, the invention provides a method for realizing calling of a dual mode mobile phone by using an intelligent network, wherein after subscribing a calling and called processes in the intelligent network, a user can realize services of registering the dual mode mobile phone with an access point device, releasing the registration in the access point device, being a calling party, and being a called party by using the intelligent network, in which,
the service process of registering the dual mode mobile phone in the access point device includes the following steps:
(al) detecting a register request from a dual mode mobile phone by the access point device when the dual mode mobile phone enters into working area of the access point device, dialing to a service switch point device by the access point device through its home network, and carrying a number of the dual mode mobile phone, a number of the access point device

and information of the dual mode mobile phone registered in the access point device;
(a2) triggering a service of a service control point device by the service switch device, authenticating the access point device in the service, and recording the number of the access point device, the number of the dual mode mobile phone, and the information of the dual mode mobile phone registered in the access point device; and
(a3) connecting the access point device with the dual mode mobile phone; the service process of releasing the registration of the dual mode mobile phone in the access point device includes the following steps:
(b1) detecting by the access point device that the dual mode mobile phone is leaving the working area of the access point device, disconnecting to the access point device, dialing to the service switch point device through its home network, and carrying the number of the dual mode mobile phone and the number of the access point device; and
(b2) triggering a service of the service control point device by the service switch point device, authenticating the access point device in the service, and releasing the registration of the dual mode mobile phone in the service switch point device;
the service process of being a calling party for the mobile phone includes the following steps:
(c1) registering the dual mode mobile phone in the access point device, dialing a call out, appending by the access point device the information of the dual mode mobile phone registered in the access point device, and dialing to the service switch point device through its home network;
(c2) triggering a service of the service control point device by the service switch point device, and deciding in the service the number of the dual mode mobile phone according to the information of the dual mode mobile phone registered in the access point device and a registration record of the dual mode mobile phone; and
(c3) taking the number of the dual mode mobile phone as a calling number in a connection message in the service, and directing the service switch point device to connect the calling party and the called party,
the service process of being a called party for the dual mode mobile phone includes the following steps:
(d1) dialing the number of the dual mode mobile phone from a calling party, and triggering a service of the intelligent network at the service switch point device;
(d2) judging in the service whether the dual mode mobile phone has been registered in a service access point device, and then, if not registered, sending a connection message directly

down to the service switch point, if registered, appending the information of the dual mode mobile phone registered in the access point device and sending a connection message to the service switch point; and
(d3) routing the calling to the access point device by the service switch point device, and then connecting by the access point device the dual mode mobile phone registered in the access point device, so as to connect the calling party and called party.
The above method is characterized that the dual mode mobile phone is connected with the access point device through Blue Tooth protocol or wireless local area network protocol.
The above method is characterized that
when the access point device dials, its home fixed switch routes the calling to the service switch point device (the home fixed switch and the service switch point device can be the same device entity), and also routes the calling from the service switch point device to the access point device.
The above method is characterized that in the steps of (a1) and (b1), each number dialed by the access point device includes a number prefix for routing, a instruction type number, a registering serial number of the dual mode mobile phone in the access point device, a password of the access point device for authenticating and the number of the dual mode mobile phone.
The above method is characterized that in the step of (a2), if the dual mode mobile phone has been registered with an access point device, it needs to release the original registration of the dual mode mobile phone.
The above method is characterized that in the step of (b2), the service control point device firstly checks whether the dual mode mobile phone has been registered with any access point device; and, if not registered, it is deemed that the release has completed, if registered, it will then delete the recorded data in the original registration.
The above method is characterized that the service process of releasing the registration of the dual mode mobile phone in the access point device further includes the following steps:
making a call from the dual mode mobile phone as a calling party through its home network, and subscribing in the service switch point device to trigger a service in the service control point device; and
judging in the service whether the dual mode mobile phone has been registered with an access point device according to the calling number, and, if registered, releasing the registration of the dual mode mobile phone in the access point device and sending a connection message down to the service switch point, if not registered, sending a connection

message directly down to the service switch point device.
The above method is characterized that in the step of (c1), after the access point device receives the number dialed by the mobile phone, preceding the original called number are appended a number prefix for routing, a instruction type number, and the registering serial number of the dual mode mobile phone in the access point device; and
in the step of (c2), the service control point device firstly decides the access point device according to the calling number making the call, and then finds the number of the dual mode mobile phone from the registration records in the access point device according to the registering serial number in the called number.
The above method is characterized that in the step of (d2), in the service the number prefix for routing, the registering serial number of the dual mode mobile phone in the access point device and the original calling number are filled into a calling parameter in the connection message, and the number of service access point device registered by the dual mode mobile phone is filled into a called parameter; and
in the step of (d3), the access point device receives the calling number and the called number and then decides the dual mode mobile phone to be connected with according to the registering serial number.
The above method is characterized that in the service processes of registering the dual mode mobile phone with the access point device and releasing the registration in the access point device, when the service succeeds or fails, the service control point device sends DTMF signal or FSK signal, and plays prompt voice to the user; and when the dual mode mobile phone has been registered with the access point device or released the registration in the access point device, or completed communication through the intelligent network, a corresponding calling list is provided.
A system for realizing calling of a dual mode mobile phone by using an intelligent network of the present invention includes a service control point device and a service switch point device of an intelligent network connected each other through a signaling channel, and an access point device and a dual mode mobile phone connected each other through a short distance wireless communication protocol, the dual mode mobile phone is connected with the service switch device through its home network, and the access point device is connected with the service switch point device through its home network, wherein
the access point device further includes:
a dialing processing module for detecting the connection or disconnection with dual mode mobile phone, or dialing to the service switch point device, after receiving calling from the

dual mode mobile phone, and carrying the number of the dual mode mobile phone, the information of the dual mode mobile phone registered in the access point device and routing information; and
a connecting processing module for finding out the dual mode mobile phone to set up connection, when receiving a connection message from the service switch point device;
the service switch point device further includes a service triggering module of the intelligent network, which is used to support service users and access point device users to trigger intelligent network services by subscribing;
the service control point device further includes:
an intelligent network service module for providing services of registering the dual mode mobile phone with the access point device, releasing of registration in the access point device, being a calling party and being a called party; and
an user management module for managing data and registration information of the service users and the access point device users in a database.
The above system is characterized that after detecting a connection or disconnection with the dual mode mobile phone, the dialing process module initiates a calling carrying a password of the access point device.
The above system is characterized that the intelligent network service module further includes a registration processing unit, a registration releasing processing unit, a calling processing unit and a called processing unit, in which:
the registration processing unit is used, after the access point device initiating registration has been authenticated, to record the number of the access point device, the relationship between the number of the dual mode mobile phone and the registering serial number of the dual mode mobile phone in the access point device;
the registration releasing processing unit is used, after the access point device initiating registration releasing has been authenticated or when the dual mode mobile phone makes a call through its home network and has registered at the access point device, to release the registration of the dual mode mobile phone in the access point device;
the calling processing unit is used, when receiving the calling sent by the dual mode mobile phone via the access point device, to decide the number of the dual mode mobile phone from its registration records and take it as the calling number in a connecting message to set up a connection; and
the called process processing unit is used, when a calling party dials the number of the dual mode mobile phone registered with the access point device, to append the information of

the dual mode mobile phone registered in the access point device into a connection message according to the registration records of the dual mode mobile phone, and connect the calling to the dual mode mobile phone through the access point device.
The above system is characterized that the user management module further includes:
a service user management unit for adding, searching and deleting service users, and modifying the properties of the service users in a database of the system;
an access point device user management unit for adding, searching and deleting access point device users, and modifying the properties of the access point device users in the database of the system; and
an user registration management unit for, when a service user registers or releases the registration with the access point device, adding or deleting the corresponding records in the database of the system, and searching the registration information.
The above system is characterized that the home network of the dual mode mobile phone is a GSM network, CDMA network, or PHS network.
The above system is characterized that the dual mode mobile phone is a mobile phone connecting with the access point device by using wireless local area network protocol or Blue Tooth protocol.
The above system is characterized that the access point device is connected with the service switch point device through the fixed switch of Public Switched Telephone Network (the home fixed switch and the service switch point device may be the same device entity), and the fixed switch routes the calling to the service switch point device according to the routing information in the calling of the access point device.
The above system is characterized that the user management module is a data management and maintenance terminal connected with the service control point device.
From the above description, the present invention realizes incoming/outgoing calling of the dual mode mobile phone by using intelligent network devices, so that the dual mode mobile phone can communicate with any telephone in the existing communication networks without using its home wireless network, which extends the application of the data communication function of the dual mode mobile phone, and especially settles the communicating problem of mobile phones in the places where the wireless signal is not good, such as in a building. Additionally, most devices in the system of the invention may use the existing devices in the telecommunication market. Various devices in the invention have explicit function, and investment for the new devices is less.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT(S)
Figure 1 is a system network schematic of an embodiment of the invention. As shown, the system network of the present invention is composed of a service control point device (SCP) 101 of a PHS switch network, a service switch point device (SSP) 102 and a AP home fixed switch 103, an access point device (AP) 104 of dual mode mobile phones, a dual mode mobile phone 105 of PHS network, and so on. The figure also shows the way that the dual mode mobile phone 105 connects with the SSP 102 through its home wireless network. The SCP 101 is connected with the SSP 102 through NO.7 signaling channel, which is used to transmit intelligent network signaling message. The SSP 102 is connected with the fixed switch 103 through voice channel, and the AP 104 is connected with the fixed switch 103 through voice channel □ which has the function of a terminal of the fixed switch. The way of connecting and the communication protocol (TUP/CAP/WLAN/PHS, etc, shown in the figure) among various devices in the figure are widely used in networks in prior art. Additionally, in the figure, the SSP 102 and the AP home fixed switch 103 may be the same device.
To explain function of the devices and the service process of the embodiment, "service user" and "access point device user (AP user)" are explained first.
A number of a dual mode mobile phone uniquely denotes a "service user" of the invention. The telephone of the service user may be a PHS Blue Tooth telephone, PHS WLAN telephone, PHS-PHS telephone or one of other network telephones, etc. A service user should be a subscriber of an intelligent network calling process and called process.
A local telephone number uniquely denotes an "AP user" (AP device), the user telephone is an accessing device for the dual mode mobile phone.
The dual mode mobile phone in the embodiment is a blue tooth telephone among PHS

network dual mode mobile phones. The "Blue Tooth PHS telephone" can be connected to PHS switch network through PHS wireless protocol and PHS wireless device, as well as connected to AP device through Blue Tooth protocol interface (or WLAN protocol, PHS protocol, or other short distance wireless communication protocols), to call or to be called.
The AP device is connected with the dual mode mobile phone through Blue Tooth protocol, and connected with its home switch through voice channel, so as to interchange the signals in communication channel and realize voice communicating. In the embodiment, AP also has a dialing processing module and a connecting processing module related to the services of the invention.
The dialing processing module is used to dial to SSP, after detecting the connection with the dual mode mobile phone set up or disconnected, or after receiving the calling from the dual mode mobile phone. In the calling initiated by the AP, the AP user number is the calling party. But it still needs to know in the invention the number of the dual mode mobile phone, the register information of the dual mode mobile phone stored in AP, and routing information. Therefore in the embodiment, the dialing processing module changes the called number by adding "number prefix + instruction type number + instruction parameter" before the called number, and dials the number changed to the SSP. The number prefix is donated by Nl, which is determined in advance for the operations of routing, addressing and so on. The instruction type number is a number with one bit, "1" denotes the binding between a dual mode mobile phone and a AP device, "2" denotes the release of the binding between a dual mode mobile phone and a AP device, "3" denotes that the dual mode mobile phone is a calling party after registering. X denotes instruction parameter, which is the serial number assigned in AP according to the mobile phone number registered, ranging from 00 to 99. The length of Nl is fixed, and the length of the instruction number is also fixed. The total length of "number prefix + instruction type number + instruction parameter" is determined by the supporting capability of the switch. Additionally, a password of the AP should be added to the dialing number dialed when connection or disconnection of the dual mode mobile phone is detected.
The connecting processing module is used to find and connect the dual mode mobile phone, when receiving the connection message from the SSP. Since the called number is the number of the AP user during the calling from the SSP to the AP, the AP needs to determine the dual mode mobile phone to connect according to the registering serial number of the dual mode mobile phone carried in the calling parameters.
The fixed switch is used to analyze the number prefix in the calling initiated by the AP, and route the calling to the SSP of PHS switch network. Number analysis is a basic capability

of the switch, and can be realized just by configuring the corresponding data on the managing console of the switch.
Besides the original functions, the SSP needs to load an intelligent network service triggering module special for the invention for supporting the users of the invention to trigger the intelligent network service by subscribing.
Besides the original functions, the SCP needs to load an intelligent network service module and a user management module, in which the intelligent network service module for providing various services of the invention further includes a registration processing unit, a registration releasing processing unit, a calling processing unit and a called processing unit.
The registration processing unit is used, after the AP initiating registration has been authenticated, to record AP number and the relationship between the number of the dual mode mobile phone and the registering serial number of the dual mode mobile phone in AP, provide a list, and play prompt voice. If the dual mode mobile phone has been registered before, the original registration relationship will be released first.
The registration releasing processing unit is used, after the AP initiating registration releasing has been authenticated or when the dual mode mobile phone registered at the AP makes a outgoing call as a calling party through its home network, to release the registration of the dual mode mobile phone at the AP, provide a list and play prompt voice.
The calling processing unit is used, after receiving a call initiated by the dual mode mobile phone through the AP, to decide the number of the dual mode mobile phone initiating the call according to registration records, and take the number decided as the calling number in the connection message to set up connection.
The called processing unit is used, when the calling party is dialing the number of the dual mode mobile phone registered in the AP, to append the number prefix and the registering serial number of the called party in the AP into the calling parameter in the connection message, and fill the telephone number of the AP into the called parameter to set up connection.
The user management module is used to manage the data of the service users (users of PHS Blue Tooth telephones) and the AP users and registration information in the database, which further includes a service user management unit, an AP user management unit and a user registration management unit.
The service user management unit is used for adding new service users, such as PHS blue tooth telephones, in the system database, searching and deleting the service users in the system, and modifying the properties of the service users in the system, such as count opening

date, valid term, users' information, and so on.
The AP user management unit is used for adding new AP users in the system database, searching and deleting the AP users in the system and modifying the properties of the AP users in the system, such as password, etc. Particularly, each AP user has a nonempty password, which must be provided to the SCP when the AP registers the dual mode mobile phone. The SCP will authenticate the AP, and, if the password is incorrect, the SCP will not register the connection relationship between the AP and the dual mode mobile phone.
The user registration management unit is used, when the service user has registered to the AP or has released the registration, to add or delete the corresponding records in the system database, including the number of the dual mode mobile phone, the relationship between the AP user telephone number and the registering serial number of the dual mode mobile phone in the AP, search and so on.
In the embodiment, a new added data management and maintenance terminal connecting to the SCP, which may be a composing part of the SCP, can realize the user management module above. Running software in the maintenance terminal can modify data in the SCP database.
When using the method of the invention, the service user should be a subscriber of intelligent network calling process and called process at SSP in advance. In the embodiment, after the dual mode mobile phone has been registered with AP through Blue Tooth protocol, the user can take a call or make a call repeatedly within a effective communication range of the Blue Tooth, and, when the user is out of the effective communication range, the AP releases the registration of the dual mode mobile phone from the AP and the dual mode mobile phone again registers to its home network. The processes of registering the dual mode mobile phone to the AP, releasing the registration from the AP, being a calling party and being a called party will be discussed below.
Registering to the AP:
When the dual mode mobile phone enters the work range of the AP, it connects with the AP through blue tooth protocol, and then the AP dials and triggers a service in the SCP. With reference to figure 2, the detailed process includes the following steps:
Step 110, detecting by the AP 202 a register request from PHS Blue Tooth telephone 201, and dialing automatically from the AP 202 the number of Nl+1+X+password+mobile phone number to its home switch 203;
Step 120, routing the calling to the SSP 204 by AP home switch 203, and triggering an intelligent network service in the SCP 205 by the SSP 204;

Step 130, implementing "registering to AP" function in the service to check whether the password sent by the AP 202 is correct according to the called number received, and, if the password is correct, then going to the next step, otherwise, going to step 180;
Step 140, checking in the service whether the mobile phone number has registered to any AP, and, if registered, then going to the next step, otherwise, going to step 160;
Step 150, releasing the original registration, and providing a list of releasing registration;
Step 160, recording the AP number, the mobile phone number, the relationship between the mobile phone number and the registering serial number of the mobile phone number in the AP 202, and, if the registration succeeds, then going to the next step, otherwise, going to step 190;
Step 170, providing a list of registration in the AP 202, sending a DTMF (Dual Tone Multi-Frequency) signal (or FSK signal) "0", and playing a voice prompting the user that the calling made has successfully been registered, and completing the process;
Step 180, sending a DTMF signal (or FSK signal) "1", playing a voice prompting the user that the calling made can not be registered, releasing the calling, and completing the process; and
Step 190, sending a DTMF signal (or FSK signal) "2", playing a voice prompting the user that the calling can not be registered, releasing the calling, and completing the process.
Releasing the registration from the AP:
There are two ways for releasing the registration from the AP. The first way is automatically releasing the registration through the AP, that is, disconnecting with the AP after the dual mode mobile moves out of the work range of the AP, and then triggering a service in the SCP by the AP. As shown in figure 2, the process includes the following steps:
Step 210, detecting by the AP 202 that the dual mode mobile phone 201 moves out of the range prescribed by the protocol, disconnecting the connection with the dual mode mobile phone 201, and dialing automatically the number of Nl+2+X+password+PHS number to its home switch 203;
Step 220, routing the calling to the SSP 204 by the AP home switch 203, and triggering an intelligent network service in the SCP 205 by the SSP 204;
Step 230, implementing "releasing the registration from the AP" function in the service according to the called number received, checking whether the password sent by the AP 202 is correct, and, if the password is correct, then going to the next step, otherwise, going to step 260;
Step 240, checking in the service whether the mobile phone number has registered to any

AP, if registered, releasing the registration (deleting the record of the relationship between the dual mode mobile phone and the AP set when registering), providing a list of releasing the registration, and then going to the next step, if not registered, going directly to the next step with regarding as that releasing of the registration is successfully completed;
Step 250, sending a DTMF signal (or FSK signal) "0", playing a voice prompting the user that the blue tooth calling service registered has been released, releasing the calling, and completing the process; and
Step 260, sending a DTMF signal (or FSK signal) "1", playing a voice prompting the user that releasing the blue tooth calling service registered fails, releasing the calling, and completing the process.
The second way is triggering a service through subscribing in the SSP when the service user is a calling party in its home network, and, if the dual mode mobile phone has been registered with the AP, releasing the existing registration to the AP in the service. The detailed process includes the following steps:
Step 310, triggering a service through SSP subscribing when the dual mode mobile phone makes an outgoing call as a calling party in its home network,
Step 320, judging whether the calling number has registered to a certain AP according to the calling number, and, if registered, then going to the next step, otherwise, going directly to step 340;
Step 330, releasing the registration of the service user's telephone from the AP, and providing a list of releasing the registration; and
Step 340, sending a connection message to the SSP, indicating the SSP to connect the calling party and the called party, and completing the process.
Being a calling party:
The dual mode mobile phone can make a call after it has been registered with the AP. With reference to figure 3, the process includes the following steps:
Step 410, dialing a call out after the dual mode mobile phone 301 has been registered with the AP 302, and carrying the telephone number called;
Step 420, adding "N1+3+X" preceding the original number called after the AP 302 has received the number dialed by the mobile phone 301, and dialing out;
Step 430, routing the number dialed from the AP 302 to the SSP 304 through the AP home switch 303, and triggering an intelligent network service;
Step 440, implementing "calling process" function according to the number received, deciding the number of the dual mode mobile phone 301 initiating the calling, taking such

number as the calling number in a connection message, in which the SCP 305 firstly decides the AP 302 according to the original calling number received, finds the desired number of the mobile phone from the registration records in the AP 302 according to the registering serial number "X" in the called number, and takes the number as the calling number in the connection message, and adopting the original called number received as the called number in the connection message; and
Step 450, sending the connection message down to the SSP 304, directing the SSP 304 to connect the calling party 301 and the called party 306, monitoring the calling in the service when the calling party 301 and the called party 306 have been connected, providing a list of the calling after the communication completes, and then completing the process.
Being a called party:
Since the number of the dual mode mobile phone is subscribed intelligent network called process in the SSP, any calling to the dual mode mobile phone will trigger an intelligent network service in the SSP. With reference to figure 4, the process includes the following steps:
Step 510, triggering an intelligent network service at the SSP 404 when the calling party 406 dials the number of the dual mode mobile phone 401;
Step 520, checking in the intelligent network service the records in the database to decide whether the dual mode mobile phone 401 has been registered with any AP, and, if not registered, then going to step 570, otherwise, going to the next step;
Step 530, filling "Nl+X+the original calling number" into a calling parameter of a connection message, filling the AP telephone number registered by the dual mode mobile phone 401 into a called parameter, and then sending the connection message to the SSP 405;
Step 540, routing the calling to the AP 402 through the AP home switch 403 by the SSP 404;
Step 550, connecting the dual mode mobile phone 401 whose serial number registered in the AP 402 is "X" after the AP 402 receives the calling number and the called number,
Step 560, monitoring the calling after the calling party 406 and the called party 401 have been connected, providing a list of the called process after the communication completes, and then completing the process; and
Step 570, sending the connection message directly to the SSP 404, and completing the process.
The networking system of the embodiment of present invention can also be realized as shown in Fig.5. In the embodiment, it still includes the service control point device (SCP) 501,

the service switch point device (SSP) 502, and PHS network dual mode mobile phone 505 of PHS switching network, while the other devices, such as dual mode mobile phone access point device (AP) and home switch of the AP, are realized by a soft-switch (SS) 503 system. AP and SS 503 connect each other by soft-switch protocol. With others same as Fig.l, the mode that the dual mode mobile phone 505 connects with SSP 502 by its home wireless network is shown in Fig.5. The connecting protocols between SCP 501 and SSP 502, and between SSP 502 and SS 503 are same as that in the embodiment of Fig.l.
In conclusion, a dual mode mobile phone can communicate with any network telephone through an intelligent network system by using above devices and method of the invention, which settles communication problems of the telephones in the existing communication network when the dual mode mobile phone can not be connected to its home wireless network. Additionally, the devices in the system of the invention could be mostly realized by the existing devices in telecommunication market, and the functions of the various devices in the invention is explicit. The investment for the new devices is less.
Although the above embodiments take PHS dual mode mobile phone as an example, GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, or CDMA2000 dual mode mobile phone can also be used in the invention like PHS. In the aspects of device networks, device names, subscribing properties, etc., the description for the embodiments can also be applied to CDMA, GSM, or WCDMA network. And PHS, CDMA, GSM, or WCDMA switch with the function of SSF can become a SSP device.
In the embodiment, although the AP device is routed to SSP through its home fixed switch, it can be connected with SSP through other home networks.







We Claim:
1. A method for realizing dual mode mobile phone calling by using an intelligent network, characterized in that after subscribing a calling and called processes in the intelligent network, a user can realize services of registering a dual mode mobile phone (105) with an access point device (104), releasing the registration in the access point device (104), being a calling party, and being a called party by using the intelligent network, in which,
the service process of registering the dual mode mobile phone (105) with the access point device (104) includes the following steps:
(al) detecting a register request from a dual mode mobile phone (105) by the access point device (104) when the dual mode mobile phone (105) enters into working area of the access point device (104), dialing to a service switch point device (102) by the access point device
(104) through its home network, and carrying a number of the dual mode mobile phone (105), a number of the access point device (104) and information of the dual mode mobile phone
(105) registered in the access point device (104);
(a2) triggering a service of a service control point device (101) by the service switch device, authenticating the access point device (104) in the service, and recording the number of the access point device (104), the number of the dual mode mobile phone (105), and a registering serial number of the dual mode mobile phone (105) registered in the access point device (104); and
(a3) connecting the access point device (104) with the dual mode mobile phone (105); the service process of releasing the registration of the dual mode mobile phone (105) in the access point device (104) includes the following steps:
(bl) detecting by the access point device (104) that the dual mode mobile phone (105) moves out of the working area of the access point device (104), disconnecting the connection, dialing to the service switch point device (102) through its home network, and carrying the number of the dual mode mobile phone (105) and the number of the access point device (104); and
(b2) triggering a service of the service control point device (101) by the service switch
point device (102), authenticating the access point device (104) in the service, and releasing
the registration of the dual mode mobile phone (105) in the service switch point device (102);
the service process of being a calling party for the mobile phone (105) includes the
following steps:
(cl) registering the dual mode mobile phone (105) in the access point device (104), dialing a call out, appending by the access point device (104) the information of the dual

mode mobile phone (105) registered in the access point device (104), and dialing to the service switch point device (102) through its home network;
(c2) triggering a service of the service control point device (101) by the service switch point device (102), and deciding in the service the number of the dual mode mobile phone (105) according to the information of the dual mode mobile phone (105) registered and a registration record of the dual mode mobile phone (105) in the access point device (104); and
(c3) taking the number of the dual mode mobile phone (105) as a calling number in a connection message in the service, and directing the service switch point device (102) to connect the calling party and the called party,
the service process of being a called party for the dual mode mobile phone (105) includes the following steps:
(d1) dialing a number of a dual mode mobile phone (105) from a calling party, and triggering a service of the intelligent network at the service switch point device (102);
(d2) judging in the service whether the dual mode mobile phone (105) has been registered in a service access point device (104), and then, if not registered, sending a connection message directly down to the service switch point, if registered, appending the information of the dual mode mobile phone (105) registered in the access point device (104) and sending a connection message to the service switch point; and
(d3) routing the calling to the access point device (104) by the service switch point device (102), and then connecting by the access point device (104) the dual mode mobile phone (105) registered in the access point device (104), so as to connect the calling party and called party.
2. A method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the dual mode mobile phone (105) is connected with the access point device (104) through a blue tooth protocol or wireless local area network protocol.
3. A method as claimed in claim 1, wherein when the access point device (104) dials, its home fixed switch (103) routes the calling to the service switch point device (102), and also routes the calling from the service switch point device (102) to the access point device (104).
4. A method as claimed in claim 1, wherein in the steps of (a1) and (b1), each number dialed by the access point device (104) includes a number prefix, a instruction type number, the registering serial number of the dual mode mobile phone (105) in the access point device (104), a password of the access point device (104) for authenticating and the number of the dual mode mobile phone (105).
5. A method as claimed in claim 1, wherein in the step of (a2), if the dual mode mobile

phone (105) has been registered with an access point device (104), it needs to release the original registration of the dual mode mobile phone (105).
6. A method as claimed in claim 1, wherein in the step of (b2), the service control point
device (101) firstly checks whether the dual mode mobile phone (105) has been registered
with any access point device (104); and, if not registered, it is deemed that the release has
completed, if registered, it will then delete the recorded data in the original registration.
7. A method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the service process of releasing the
registration of dual mode mobile phone (105) in the access point device (104) also includes
the following steps:
making a call from the dual mode mobile phone (105) as a calling party through its home network, and subscribing in the service switch point device (102) to trigger a service in the service control point device (101); and
judging in the service whether the dual mode mobile phone (105) has been registered with an access point device (104) according to the calling number, and, if registered, releasing the registration of the dual mode mobile phone (105) in the access point device (104) and then sending a connection message down to the service switch point, if not registered, sending a connection message directly down to the service switch point device (102).
8. A method as claimed in claim 1, wherein in the step of (cl), after the access point
device (104) receives the number dialed by the mobile phone (105), preceding the original
called number are appended a number prefix for routing, a instruction type number, and the
registering serial number of the dual mode mobile phone (105) in the access point device
(104); and
in the step of (c2), the service control point device (101) firstly decides the access point device (104) according to the calling number making the call, and then finds the number of the dual mode mobile phone (105) from the registration records in the access point device (104) according to the registering serial number in the called number.
9. A method as claimed in claim 1, wherein in the step of (d2), in the service the number
prefix for routing, the registering serial number of the dual mode mobile phone (105) in the
access point device (104) and the original calling number are filled into a calling parameter in
the connection message, and the number of service access point device (104) registered by the
dual mode mobile phone (105) is filled into a called parameter; and
in the step of (d3), the access point device (104) receives the calling number and the called number and then decides the dual mode mobile phone (105) to be connected with according to the registering serial number.

A method as claimed in claim 1, wherein in the service processes of registering the dual mode mobile phone (105) with the access point device (104) and releasing the registration in the access point device (104), when the service succeeds or fails, the service control point device (101) sends DTMF signal or FSK signal, and plays prompt voice to the user; and when the dual mode mobile phone (105) has been registered with the access point device (104) or released the registration in the access point device (104), or completed communication through the intelligent network, a corresponding calling list is provided.
11. A system for realizing dual mode mobile phone calling by using an intelligent network of the present invention, characterized in that the system includes a service control point device (101) and a service switch point device (102) of an intelligent network connected each other through a signaling channel, and an access point device (104) and a dual mode mobile phone (105) connected each other through a short distance wireless communication protocol, the dual mode mobile phone (105) is connected with the service switch device through its home network, and the access point device (104) is connected with the service switch point device (102) through its home network, wherein
the access point device (104) also includes:
a dialing processing module for detecting the connection or disconnection with dual mode mobile phone (105), or dialing to the service switch point device (102), after receiving calling from the dual mode mobile phone (105), and carrying the number of the dual mode mobile phone (105), the information of the dual mode mobile phone (105) registered in the access point device (104) and routing information; and
a connecting processing module for finding out the dual mode mobile phone (105) to set up connection, when receiving a connection message from the service switch point device (102);
the service switch point device (102) also includes a service triggering module of the intelligent network, which is used to support service users and access point device users to trigger intelligent network services by subscribing;
the service control point device (101) also includes:
an intelligent network service module for providing services of registering the dual mode mobile phone (105) with the access point device (104), releasing of registration in the access point device (104), being a calling party and being a called party; and
an user management module for managing data and registration information of the service users and the access point device users in a database.
12. A system as claimed in claim 11, wherein after detecting a connection or

disconnection with the dual mode mobile phone (105), the dialing process module initiates a calling carrying a password of the access point device (104).
13. A system as claimed in claim 11, wherein the intelligent network service module also includes a registration processing unit, a registration releasing processing unit, a calling processing unit and a called processing unit, in which:
the registration processing unit is used, after the access point device (104) initiating registration has been authenticated, to record the number of the access point device (104), the relationship between the number of the dual mode mobile phone (105) and the registering serial number of the dual mode mobile phone (105) in the access point device (104);
the registration releasing processing unit is used, after the access point device (104) initiating registration releasing has been authenticated or when the dual mode mobile phone (105) makes a call through its home network and has registered at the access point device (104), to release the registration of the dual mode mobile phone (105) in the access point device (104);
the calling processing unit is used, when receiving the calling sent by the dual mode mobile phone (105) via the access point device (104), to decide the number of the dual mode mobile phone (105) from its registration records and take it as the calling number in a connecting message to set up a connection; and
the called process processing unit is used, when a calling party dials the number of the dual mode mobile phone (105) registered with the access point device (104), to append the information of the dual mode mobile phone (105) registered in the access point device (104) into a connection message according to the registration records of the dual mode mobile phone (105), and connect the calling to the dual mode mobile phone (105) through the access point device (104).
14. A system as claimed in claim 11 or 13, wherein the user management module also includes:
a service user management unit for adding, searching and deleting service users, and modifying the properties of the service users in a database of the system;
an access point device user management unit for adding, searching and deleting access point device users, and modifying the properties of the access point device users in the database of the system; and
an user registration management unit for, when a service user registers or releases the registration with the access point device (104), adding or deleting the corresponding records in the database of the system, and searching the registration information.

15. A system as claimed in claim 11, wherein the home network of the dual mode mobile phone (105) is a GSM network, CDMA network, or PHS network.
16. A system as claimed in claim 11, wherein the dual mode mobile phone (105) is a mobile phone connecting with the access point device (104) by using wireless local area network protocol or Blue Tooth protocol.

17. A system as claimed in claim 11, wherein the access point device (104) is connected with the service switch point device (102) through the fixed switch of Public Switched Telephone Network, and the fixed switch routes the calling to the service switch point device (102) according to the routing information in the calling of the access point device (104).
18. A system as claimed in claim 11, wherein the user management module is a data management and maintenance terminal connected with the service control point device (101).
