Title of Invention

" A MACHINE FOR MAKING HEXAGONAL GLITTERS."

Abstract A machine for manufacturing hexagonal glitters includes a base, a material hanging rack with a material roll disposed at the base, at least two material feeding rollers provided at the base, and a fixed flat cutter and a rotatable rolling cutter disposed at the rear side of the material feeding rollers. The invention feature on that an indentation is disposed at the rear side of the cutting teeth of the flat cutter for withdrawing materials, and the cutting planes of the rolling cutter are spiral and tilted in small angles so that the materials are cut into hexagonal glitters with an optical cutting ability.
Full Text BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a machine for making hexagonal glitters, more especially to a kin of machines for making glitters that has an indentation at the rear of the cutting plane of a flat cutter. The cutting planes of a rolling cutter of the machine are spiral with small tilted angles so as to achieve better cutting effect in making hexagonal glitters.
2. Description of the Prior Art
Generally, the glitters disposed in a small bottle for decoration is made from plastic membranes. By scissors sliding upwards and downwards, the plastic membranes are cut into long strips. Then the long strips are collected and packed into a bundle, being cut again in the same way in horizontal direction. Therefore, the flaky rectangular glitters are formed.
However, it is necessary for traditional method to cut the plastic membranes twice-in the vertical direction and in the horizontal direction respectively. The manufacturing procedure is complicated.
Moreover, it's inconvenient to collect plastic strips or threads after the first cutting. It takes more time to finish the manufacturing which causes low efficiency thus the cost is also increased.
In addition, the glitters made by the conventional way is rectangular, such kind of shape is not only monotonous, lack of innovation, but also not appealing.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
It is therefore a primary object of the present invention to provide a machine for I making hexagonal glitters having a flat cutter and a rotatable rolling cutter. There is an indentation arranged at the rear of cutting teeth of a flat cutter and the cutting planes of the rolling cutter are spiral with small tilted angles so as to achieve better cutting effect.
To meet the aforementioned objectives the invention provides for a machine for making hexagonal glittering flakes comprising a base (1), a material hanging rack (2) with a material roll (3) disposed on the base, at least two material feeding rollers (4) disposed at the base, and a fixed flat cutter (5) and a rotatable rolling cutter (6) disposed on the rear side of the material feeding rollers; wherein the flat cutter is arranged with a plurality of cutting teeth (51) and the rolling cutter is provided with a plurality of cutting planes (61), such that the material roll is delivered by the material feeding rollers and pressed between the flat cutter and the rolling cutter so as to form glitters; characterised in mat;
the flat cutter has a string main body and an indentation (52) is disposed at the rear side of the cutting teem (51) on the bottom side of the flat cutter for the convenience of withdrawing materials; the cutting planes of the rolling cutter are spirals tilted in small angles so as to have better cutting strength; the cutting direction of the cutting teeth on the flat cutter is laid at nearly 90 degrees to the direction of the cutting planes of the rolling cutter so that the material passing by is cut into powders.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS
The accomplishment of the above-mentioned object of the present invention
will become apparent from the following description and its accompanying
drawings which disclose illustrative an embodiment of the present invention,
and are as follows :
Fig. 1 is a top view of a machine for making hexagonal glitters in accordance
with the present invention ;
Fig. 2 is a top view of a flat cutter in accordance with the present invention;
Fig. 3 is an elevation view of a rolling cutter of the present invention;
Fig. 4 is a partial side view of the flat cutter and the rolling cutter in accordance with
the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED
EMBODIMENT
Refer to Fig.l, the present invention includes a material hanging rack 2 with a material roll 3 disposed on a base 1, at least two material feeding rollers 4 are installed on the base 1 while a fixed flat cutter 5 and a rotatable rolling cutter 6 are disposed on the rear side of the material feeding rollers 4. A plurality of serrated cutting teeth 51 projecting downward is arranged on the flat cutter 5, as shown in Fig.2, and the rolling cutter 6 is arranged with a plurality of cutting planes 61, as shown in Fig.3. Thus the material roll 3 is delivered by the material feeding rollers 4, passing and slicing between the flat cutter 5 and the rotatable rolling cutter 6, refer to Fig.4. Therefore the glittering chips are formed.
Refer to Fig.2 & Fig.4, a flat cutter 5 has a string main body with teeth on the bottom side thereof.
The present invention features on that: an indentation 52 is disposed at the rear side of the cutting teeth 51 on the bottom side of the flat cutter 5 for the convenience of withdrawing materials. The cutting planes 61 of the rolling cutter 6 are spirals tilted in small angles so as to have better cutting strength. Moreover, the cutting direction of the cutting teeth 51 on the flat cutter 5 is laid at nearly 90 degrees to the direction of
the cutting planes 61 of the rolling cutter 6 so that the material passing by is cut into powders. The shape of the glittering chips is hexagonal.
In accordance with the structure mentioned above, the material roll 3 is carried by the material feeding rollers 4, into the flat cutter 5 and the rolling cutter 6 therebetween. Thus the material is cut into small hexagonal glittering chips.
Due to the an indentation 52 at the rear side of the cutting teeth 51 of the flat cutter 5, the materials is easily releasing so as to avoid the accumulation of the material. Thus the better cutting effect is achieved.
Moreover, the small spiral cutting planes 61 tilted in small angles on the rolling cutter 6 make the rolling cutter 6 cut the material roll 3 more laborsaving. Not only the cutting strength is increased, but also the production of waste material is avoided. Therefore, the cutting effect is improved.
It should be noted that the above description and accompanying drawings are only used to illustrate some embodiments of the present invention, not intended to limit the scope thereof. Any modification of the embodiments should fall within the scope of the present invention.
