Full Text | Field of the invention This invention relates to a adulteration proof closure for containers such as bottles and the like containing quality and valuable beverages and drinks so that no adulteration can be made to such liquors/ beverages when packed in the containers / bottles. Background & Prior Art for the invention The tamperproof closure are well known in the prior art which provides an evidence of that bottle having been opened in that upon initial unscrewing of their cap, a tamper proofing band and the cap separate along a weakening line. However by setting the tampeiproof band back against the cap may fool an inattentive buyer. This problem has been solved in Indian Patent No. 181083 dated 18.04.1998 by having such tamper-proofing band that becomes distorted during the unscrewing act so that it cannot be restored to its original appearance. The tamperproof Closures for bottles and Containers and are comprising generally of a pouring body, an outside thread way, an annular flange, a tubular body having annular ledge on it's interior, elevations and depressions defining a grooved contour, and an annular folding tab, a screwing cap having inside thread way on the pouring body, and said screw cap attached to the tubular body through a line of weakness. Such closures are being widely used and working satisfactorily but are having the drawbacks that the screwing cap may not screw off the pouring body properly because the latter fails to be held to the bottle with adequate firmness. The Indian Patent No IN 184359 dated 12.08 2000 solved this problem by providing a coupling between the tubular body and the pouring body. But no one has attended the problem of adulteration of the quality liquors by way of the peripheral free edge of the pouring body of the closure. No prior art is available to solve such problem successfully as yet. Object of the invention The object of this invention is to provide a closure that has such construction and performance features as to solve the aforementioned problem. The problem is solved by a novel and inventive closure having a ball in the tubular body of the closure and no free peripheral edge in the pouring body so that the closure becomes a full proof one-way system. The major advantage is that the closure is refill-preventive that is no space is left by which any other liquid can go through. In other words, the closure does not have any peripheral free edge. This feature has been made more particular by a refill preventive means, basically a ball in the tubular body of the closure and allowing outflow of the liquid of the container only though the central passage of the pouring body of the closure and not having any peripheral openings for the outflow of the liquid . The further advantage is that the drink can be dispensed in an amount as needed by the user. After the required quantity has been taken out from the bottle, the original volume of the bottle cannot be restored to its original, not even by the most skillful and patient exertion. Another advantage of the closure is that it is favorable from the standpoints of safety and environmental protection. The closure is also advantageous as it can be opened with a moderate and. smooth effort. Still another advantage of the inventive closure is that it can be accommodated in containers with varying mouth size within a broad range of tolerance. Statement of the invention An adulteration proof closure (1) for containers such as bottles and the like, comprising an annular portion defined by a pouring body (4) provided with a flange, a tubular body (3) defined by a cylindrical body adapted for association with the container, a coupling means (5) between the tubular body and the pouring body, Characterized in that the cylindrical body comprises a refill preventive means, basically a ball (6) held in a holder (8) and attached to an engagement means (11) which has elevations and depressions defining a grooved contour, wherein the ball is adapted to interfere during the inward movement of the fluid leaving the closure in an irreversible state of yield. Distinguishing features of the invention: The closure of the present invention has been provided with the Central outlet in the poring body of the container for outflow of the liquid instead of peripheral outlets of the prior art. A ball fitted in the tubular body of the closure prohibits the inflow of the liquid through pouring body from outside rendering the closure adulteration proof. Description of drawings Features and the advantages of the closure according to this invention will be apparent by way of the following illustrations and not of limitation with reference to the accompanying drawings. Figure 1 shows details of the closure An adulteration proof closure (1) A pouring body (4) provided with a flange A tubular body (3) A coupling means (5) Refill preventive means, a ball (6) A holder (8) An engagement means (11) Detailed description of the invention The closure according to this invention is having a construction that facilitates its assembly into a whole, adapted to be handled as a unit, and once assembled, its installation onto the bottle. The closure comprises a tubular portion defined by a cylindrical body about an axis x-x, which is associated with the mourh of the bottle and includes a refill preventive means, basically a ball and an annular portion defined by a pour body that is fitted over the bottle mouth. The closure may also comprise a cap having a bottom and a rim and the closure; is made unitary with the cap, by preference. A cap top is fitted snugly over the cap that extends as far as the tamperproof closure. The engagement means have plurality of teeth, which are distributed around the ball. The ball has diameter and cross-section selected to enable the ball to accept a degree of slide movement without breaking in the cylindrical body. The tubular portion has an upper edge to which the annular portion is attached by coupling means. Preferably the tubular portion and annular portion are both formed from rigid plastics such as polystyrene. The operation of the inventive closure will be evident, as the ball will interfere during the fluid inward and outward operation to produce one-way effect of the closure. Understandably, the closure described may be altered in many ways by skilled persons in the art to fulfill specific requirements, still within the protection scope of the invention as defined in the claims. We Claim - 1. An adulteration proof closure (1) for containers such as bottles and the like, comprising: an annular portion defined by a pouring body (4) provided with a flange, a tubular body (3) defined by a cylindrical body adapted for association with the container, a coupling means (5) between the tubular body and the pouring body, Characterized in that the cylindrical body comprises a refill preventive means, basically a ball (6) held in a holder (8) and attached to an engagement means (11) which has elevations and depressions defining a grooved contour, wherein the ball is adapted to interfere during the inward movement of the fluid leaving the closure in an irreversible state of yield. 2. An adulteration proof closure as claimed in claim 1 wherein a cap is fitted that extends over the closure. 3. An adulteration proof closure as claimed in preceding claims wherein the reill preventive ball has diameter and cross-section selected to enable the ball to accept a degree of slide movement without breaking in the cylindrical body 4. A bottle with the adulteration proof closure as claimed in claim 1. 5. A container with the adulteration proof closure as claimed in claim 1. 6. An adulteration proof closure for containers such as bottles and the like substantially as herein described with reference to the accompanying drawings. |
