FOUR-CYCLE ENGINE

Abstract [Object] To make it possible to reduce the fuel cost by lean burn in a four-cycle engine wherein an ignition plug exposed to a combustion chamber is attached to a cylinder head having a plurality of intake ports open to the combustion chamber. [Sloving means] An ignition plug 26 is attached to a cylinder head 14 at a position displaced from the center of a combustion cahmber19. The position corresponds to that one 20 of a plurality of intake ports 20 and 21 disposed in a juxtaposed relationshop with each other which port being positoned on on eend side in a paralled direction of the intake ports 20 and 21. A guide wall 142 is provided on a ceiling wall 19a of the combustion chamber 19 around an open end of the intake posr t21 on the one end side ot the combustion chamber 19. The guide wall 142 guides intake air fowing into the combustion chamber 19 from the intake port 21 on the one end side so as to circulate by bypassing the ignition plug 26. [Selected Drawing]Fig.4
