RAMPURA GOWDRU SARABANNA, "SRI VEERABADRASWAMY NILAYA" NEAR AMBA BHAVANI TEMPLE, MAHANANDI KOTTAM, 2ND MAIN, TALUR ROAD, BELLARY-583 103. KARNATAKA The following specifications particularly describe the nature of this Invention and the manner in which It is performed. FIELD OF THE INVENTION This invention relates to a learning tool, particularly to an apparatus having engraved matter for learning and more specifically to a plastic slate. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Many tools are known in the art to aid learning. It is generally preferred to write and see what one needs to learn in the early stage of lite. Slates are known in the art Slates made of black stone or graphite is used for writing. It is known in the art to use slicks made of time to write on a plain slate. The written matter can be rubbed off by using a soft duster and the slate is thus used number of times. Children in the age group of 3-7 use slates as the use of paper requires special handling and writing techniques. For example it might not be possible for a child of the said age group to write in a straight line on a paper. Hence, children are generally taught the act of writing on a slate. Even while writing children are made to loudly pronounce the letter so as to learn what is written. For example the letter 'A' is written and simultaneously pronounced so that the writer recognizes letter 'A'. But, this possesses difficulties for the learner. He simultaneously has to write the specific letter and memorize the name of the letter. That is to say he needs to team how to write letter A and spell the word simultaneously. This possesses practical difficulties, children needs to feel the font to understand the letter better. Feeing the letter to be written down enhances teaming. The learner easily traces the letter and teams how to write test He can also simultaneously spell the letter to memorize it OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to develop an improved teaming tool for children. It is yet another object of the invention to develop an improved learning tool having ease of use. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, to meet the stated objectives and overcome the disadvantages of the prior art an improved learning tool comprising of a substantially flat material having first and second substantially flat surfaces, wherein the said first and second flat surfaces has signs grooved therein is disclosed herein. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The invention and its various embodiments is better understood by reading the description along with the accompanying drawings herein described and should not construed to limit the invention to only what is herein described. FIG1 shows an embodiment of the present invention DETAILED DESCRIPTION The present invention is about an improved learning tool made of flat or substantially flat material. The flat material is preferably of plastic, metal, rubber, graphite, stone or wood. The flat material has a first surface and second surface. The flat material can be of any length, breadth and thickness. The dimensions can be chosen so as to enable a child in the age group of 3-7 to carry. Required signs which are usually alphabets, letters and words are grooved on the first and second surface. The depth of the groove can be around 1 to 2 mm. Letters, alphabets and words of any language in the world can be grooved on the said writing tool. Not only alphabets, letters and words the said sign may be a design, drawing or figure of liking. While teaming the child is asked to trace the groove by means of his/her finger or a stick. This allows the child to feel the sign and team easily. This is natural teaming. ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION Students team efficiently by practicing sufficiently by decreasing errors arKl increasing the learning. Practice strengthens learning. When attention improves efficiency, sensation and perception improves. As perception improves retention improves. This innovative plastic copy slate has many other advantages. It does not tear. It is light It can be used even when one is traveling. It does not make demands on the teacher to write the alphabet in each students book or slate everyday. Moreover, the slate moulds the handwriting uniformly. CLAIMS I Claim, 1. An improved teaming tool comprising of a substantially flat material having first and second substantially flat surfaces, wherein the said first and second flat surfaces has signs grooved therein. 2. A learning tool as claimed in claim 1 wherein the said material includes plastic, metal, rubber, graphite, stone, wood etc 3. A learning tool as claimed in any of the preceding claims wherein the said signs indudes alphabets, letters, words and the like in any language. 4. A learning tool as claimed in any of the preceding claims wherein the said sign may be a design, drawing or figure. 5. An improved teaming tool substantially as described herein in the complete specification and drawing. S. BALACHANDRAN AGENT FOR THE APPLICANT Date: 02-01-2007 Place: Chennai-35. |
