Abstract A human safe wash / cleaning composition comprising: a) Sorbitol - 2 to 40% by wt used as sorbitol esters and ethoxilates mainly Polyoxyethylene sorbitan mono-oleate or Polyoxyethylene sorbitan mono laurate or Polyoxyethylene sorbitan mono palmitate or Polyoxyethylene sorbitan mono stearate or Polyoxyetylene sorbitan tristearate, alone or together, b) Carrier - 20 to 96% by wt, said carrier being pure water or ethyl alcohol or glycerol or mixture thereof or any non-toxic powder material to make the human safe wash / cleaning composition in powder, solid or liquid form, c) Coconut derivatives - 2 to 40% by wt, d) Optionally antibacterial, antifungal or anti-viral natural extracts - 1 to 20% by wt, and e) With or without antioxidants or preservatives - 0.1 % to 2% by wt.

AGRICULTURE PRODUCTS
This invention relates to a human safe wash / cleaning composition for washing vegetable, fruits and other agricultural products.
BACKGROUND
Farmers to save their crops from pest attack or fungal attack often use insecticides, fungicides and herbicides, either in a powder form or in emulsion form and thereafter spraying said chemicals on the crops. They also use said chemicals even pre-harvest and post-harvest to increase the shelf life of the agricultural product.
Accordingly, a lot of chemical toxicant residue is left on the surface of vegetables, fruits and other agricultural products, which is a worldwide concern. Furthermore, the unhygienic conditions of retail vegetables, fruits and other agricultural products in the market is also a worldwide concern. The toxicant residue on the surface of vegetables and fruits is not soluble in water and thus can not be washed with plain water from the vegetables, fruits and other agricultural products. This causes many diseases.
The object of this invention is to provide toxicant residue free agricultural products, namely, vegetables, fruits and the like.
To achieve the said objective, this invention provides a human safe wash / cleaning composition comprising:
■ Coconut derivatives - 2 to 40% by wt.
■ Sorbitol - 2 to 40% by wt.
■ Carrier - 20 to 96% by wt.


The coconut derivatives used may be cocodi ethanolamide or coco-betaine.
The sorbitol used is sorbitol esters and ethoxilates mainly Polyoxyethylene sorbitan mono-oleate or Polyoxyethylene sorbitan mono laurate or Polyoxyethylene sorbitan mono palmitate or Polyoxyethylene sorbitan mono stearate or Polyoxyetylene sorbitan tristearate, alone or together.
The carrier used is either pure water or ethyl alcohol or glycerol or mixture thereof or any non-toxic powder material to make the human safe wash / cleaning composition in powder, solid or liquid form. The said liquid form can be diluted with pure water and sprayed. Organic soap bar or tablet can be prepared in a normal way.
For killing bacteria, fungus, virus etc., the extracts of neem, cinnamon or coriander 1-20% by wt. or mixtures of neem, cinnamon or coriander 1-20% by wt. can be added.
This wash / cleaning composition can be applied on vegetables, fruits and other agricultural products to dissolve the toxicant residue on their surface and killing bacteria, fungus, virus and thereafter washing with pure water for safe consumption.
The said non toxic powder may be any natural, non-toxic organic or inorganic powder like corn starch, baking powder, baking soda, talc, oat meal powder, wheat powder, gram powder, rice bran powder, wheat bran powder, seed meal powder-soyabean, sunflower, cotton seed, groundnut, sesame or calcium powder, calcium carbonate powder, egg shell powder or the like.
Tablet form can be prepared by adding any natural, non-toxic organic or inorganic binder mainly gums like accasia, tragacanth, babul, carbomer, or the like mainly used for making tablets. The impregnated wipes can also be prepared by impregnating the concentrate or the diluted form in paper or cloth wipes for washing the vegetable and fruits and other agricultural products.
We may add antioxidant or preservative like methylparaben, propyl paraben, benzoic acid, citric acid, sorbic acid, propionic acid and mixtures thereof 0.1 % to 2 % by wt. or mixture thereof.
The invention will now be described with reference to the following examples
EXAMPLE I:
Mixing the following ingredients:
■ cocodi - 5%bywt.
■ sorbitol - 20%bywt.
■ water - 75%bywt. to prepare the desired strength of the solution
EXAMPLE II:
Mixing the following ingredients:
■ cocodi - 10%bywt.
■ sorbitol - 20%bywt.
■ ethyl alcohol - 30%bywt.
■ water - 30%bywt.
■ neem extract - 10%bywt.

EXAMPLE III:
Mixing the following ingredients:
■ cocodi - 10%bywt.
■ sorbitol - 10%bywt.
■ water - 60%bywt.
■ cinnamon extract - 10%bywt. to prepare the desired strength of the solution
EXAMPLE IV:
Mixing the following ingredients:
■ cocodi - 10%bywt.
■ sorbitol - 20%bywt.
■ water - 60%bywt.
■ coriander extract - 10%bywt. to prepare the desired strength of the solution
EXAMPLE V:
Mixing the following ingredients:
■ cocodi - 10%bywt.
■ sorbitol - 20%bywt.
■ water - 55%bywt.
■ neem extract - 5% by wt.

■ cinnamon extract - 5% by wt.
■ coriander extract - 5% by wt. to prepare the desired strength of the solution

EXAMPLE VI:
Mixing the following ingredients:
■ cocodi - 10%by wt.
■ sorbitol - 20%by wt.
■ water - 25%by wt.
■ ethyl alcohol - 27%by wt.
■ neem extract - 5% by wt.
■ cinnamon extract - 5% by wt.
■ coriander extract - 5%bywt.
■ propylparaben - 0.5%by wt.
■ methyl paraben - 0.5%by wt.
■ citric acid - l%by wt.
■ benzoic acid - l%by wt. to prepare the desired strength of the solution
The instant invention is not to be considered limited to the specific examples chosen for purposes of disclosure, but rather to cover all changes and modifications, which do not constitute departures from the permissible scope of the present invention. The invention is therefore not limited by the description contained herein or by the examples, but only by the claims.









We claim:
1. A human safe wash / cleaning composition comprising:
a) Sorbitol - 2 to 40% by wt used as sorbitol esters and ethoxilates mainly Polyoxyethylene sorbitan mono-oleate or Polyoxyethylene sorbitan mono laurate or Polyoxyethylene sorbitan mono palmitate or Polyoxyethylene sorbitan mono stearate or Polyoxyetylene sorbitan tristearate, alone or together,
b) Carrier - 20 to 96% by wt, said carrier being pure water or ethyl alcohol or glycerol or mixture thereof or any non-toxic powder material to make a human safe wash/ cleaning composition in powder, solid or liquid form,
c) Coconut derivatives - 2 to 40% by wt,
d) Optionally antibacterial, antifungal or anti-viral natural extracts - 1 to 20% by wt, and
e) With or without antioxidants or preservatives - 0.1 % to 2% by wt.

2. The human safe wash / cleaning composition as claimed in claim 1 wherein said coconut derivatives used is cocodi ethanolamide or coco-betaine.
3. The human safe wash / cleaning composition as claimed in claim 1 wherein said natural extracts are of neem, cinnamon or coriander or mixtures thereof.

The human safe wash / cleaning composition as claimed in claim 1 wherein said non toxic powder may be any natural, non-toxic organic or inorganic powder like corn starch, baking powder, baking soda, talc, oat meal powder, wheat powder, gram powder, rice bran powder, wheat bran powder, seed meal powder-soyabean, sunflower, cotton seed, groundnut, sesame or calcium powder, calcium carbonate powder, egg shell powder or the like.
5. The human safe wash / cleaning composition as claimed in claim 1 wherein said antioxidant or preservative like methylparaben, propyl paraben, benzoic acid, citric acid, sorbic acid, propionic acird and mixtures thereof.

The human safe wash / cleaning composition as claimed in any preceding claim as and when used in tablet form or as impregnated wipes wherein said tablet form is made by adding any natural, non-toxic organic or inorganic binder mainly gums like accasia, tragacanth, babul, carbomer, or the like, and said impregnated wipe is made by impregnating the concentrate or the diluted form of composition in paper or cloth wipes for washing the vegetable and fruits and other agricultural products.
7. A human safe wash / cleaning composition substantially as herein described with reference to the foregoing examples.
