FUEL INJECTION DEVICE FOR ENGINE

Abstract An AC generator receives a driving force from a crankshaft of an engine and generates an AC power, A regulator regulates the AC power of the AC generator to a predetermined voltage. In an electronic control unit, a power source IC produces a power source voltage from the regulated voltage, and a microcomputer is operated by supply of the power source voltage. A fuel pump is energized if a transistor is switched on by a pump drive signal output from the microcomputer. An output side of the power source IC is connected to a base of the transistor through an electric path Therefore, the transistor can be switched on also by an electric output provided through the electric path. -15-
Full Text An AC generator receives a driving force from a
crankshaft of an engine and generates an AC power. A
regulator regulates the AC power of the AC generator to a predeter~ined voltage. In an electronic control unit, a power source IC produces a power source voltage from the regulated voltage, and a microcomputer is operated by supply of the
power source voltage. A fuel pump is energized if a
transistor is switched on by a pump drive signal output from
the microcomputer. An output side of the power source IC is connected to a base of the transistor through an electric path. Therefore, the transistor can be switched on also by an electric output provided through the electric path.
