The present invention relates to a device (10) for delivering fluid to patient including an exit port assembly (70) adapted to connect to a transcutaneous patient access tool, a flow path (210) extending from the exit port assembly (70), and a flow condition sensor assembly (200) including a resilient diaphragm (220) having opposing first and second surfaces (222,224). The first surface (222) of the diapragm (220) is positioned against the flow path (210), and a chamber wall (226) is positioned adjacent the second surface (224) of the diaphragm (220) and defines a sensor chamber (228) against the second surface of the diaphragm (220). At least one sensor is arranged to provide a threshold signal when the second surface (224) of the diaphragm expands into the chamber (228) in response to at least one predetermined fluid flow condition occurring in the flow path (210). |
