Title of Invention

A SEAT BELT MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR A SMALL VEHICLE

Abstract

[Problem] To facilitate and ensure fasting and releasing operation of the seat belt in a small vehicle. [Means for Resolution] A roof 3 is provided for defining a cabin space 10 under the roof 3, and the cabin space 10 is opened sideways of a vehicle body and is provided with a pair of left and right side bars 5 extending across openings on the left and right sides of the vehicle body in the fore-and-aft direction. The side bar 5, also serving as a door, is rotable at the front end toward the vehicle body about a hing 8, and is flipped up at the rear portion. Rear portions of the left and right side bars 5 loosely support both ends of a wrapping portion 42 of a seat belt 22 respectively, and one end of shoulder portions intersecting crossways is connected to a winding unit fixed on any one of the left and right sides of the vehicle body, and the other end is connected to the other side of the vehicle body. When the side bar 5 is opened and closed when getting on and off the vehicle body, the portion of the seat belt 22 on the side of the wrapping portion moves vertical in conjunction with opening and closing operation of the side bar 5 to constrain or release a rider 20.
