Title of Invention | "AN IMPROVED AIR PURIFIER FOR A ROOM" |
---|---|
Abstract | An improved air purifier for a room comprising: a housing (1) having an inlet (2) for sucking air at one end and releasing the same after purification through two outlets (3,4) on the other sides either at 90° or 180° to each other, and air fan or blower (5) for sucking air from said inlet (2) and after filtration (6,7) the purified air is released through said two outlets (3,4), each said outlet is provided with a window (8,9) to control the flow and direction of the purified air to cover the maximum area of the room. Full Text | This invention relates to an improved air purifier for a room. BACKGROUND Conventional air-purifier for a room consists of a housing having inlet at one end for sucking air and the outlet on the opposite end of said housing for releasing the air. Further, it comprises a motor driven fan or air blower for sucking the air through filters from inlet and releasing the purified air through the said outlet on the opposite side of said housing either in horizontal direction or vertical direction. The drawback in the existing purifier is that it has one outlet for releasing the air in the room. Accordingly, the purified air gets less spread in the room. The object of this invention is to provide an improved air-purifier for a room, which can cover more area in a room with pure air by providing a second outlet window either at 90° or at 180° to the existing outlet window in the housing of the air purifier. To achieve the said objective, this invention provides an improved air purifier for a room comprising: a housing having an inlet for sucking air at one end and releasing the same after purification through two outlets on the other sides either at 90° or 180° to each other, and air fan or blower sucks the air from said inlet and after filtration the purified air is released through said two outlets, each said outlet is provided with a window to control the flow and direction of the purified air to cover the maximum area of the room. Brief description of the drawings: The invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. Figure 1 shows the first embodiment of this invention wherein two outlets have been shown perpendicular to each other to cover the maximum area of the room. Figure 2 shows a second embodiment wherein the two outlets have been placed at 180° to cover the maximum area of the room with purified air. Detailed description: Referring to the drawings, (1) shows the housing with inlet (2) and the outlets (3) & (4). An air fan or air blower (5) is placed at the middle of the housing for sucking the air from the inlet (2) through filters (6 & 7). The said outlets (3) & (4) with the help of windows (8) & (9) control the flow and direction of the purified air coming out from the 'Pure Air' room air-purifier. A lid (L) is placed on the top of the housing (1). ADVANTAGES: The outgoing purified air from said outlets (3) & (4) is in almost equal quantity in both the outlets, which are at either at right angle or 180° or at different angles to cover the entire area in the room. The second advantage is that two outlets in the room air purifier are in a better position than a single outlet and provides 25-30% more purified air. In the existing system of one outlet the spread of the outgoing purified air in the room is less because it is in one direction only whereas the combined spread of the air from the two outlets is almost 30% more than the single outlet. Consequently, an increase of 30% of pure air without spending extra money for buying a bigger purifier and spending more on energy and money is saved. We Claim: 1. An improved air purifier for a room comprising: - a housing (1) having an inlet (2) for sucking air at one end and releasing the same after purification through two outlets (3,4) on the other sides either at 90° or 180° to each other, and - air fan or blower (5) for sucking air from said inlet (2) and after filtration (6,7) the purified air is released through said two outlets (3,4), each said outlet is provided with a window (8,9) to control the flow and direction of the purified air to cover the maximum area of the room. 2. An improved air purifier for a room substantially as herein described with reference to the accompanying drawings. |
