| Abstract | A method for concentraing juice of a farm product such as fruit juice, vegetable juice to be used as helth drinks or sugar bearing juice such as sugar cane juice, beet juice,or the like used for sugar or jaggery production, comprising the steps of expressing/extracting raw juice of farm product, in known manner, like passing the uice bearing product through a yoller mill or crusing mill; filtering the raw juice of a known manner, by using a filter means, for removing any suspended matter therefrom; passing/subjecting the filter juice, through a pressure device for increasing the the pressure of out flowing juice. passing the juice with increased pressure through a juice concentration station containing a reverse osmosis membrane, for removing at least 10% to 40% of the potable water cpontent of the juice and collecting the concentrated jice and the potable water separately. |
