The product is mixture of juice extracted from the steam of sweet sorghym and sugrcane juice in minor proportion. The mixture after special process of solidification gices jagery in solid brick form. This product is very cost effect which can be produced by any poor Indian farmer and the product can be in the market with affordable MRP. The product is capable of being used for medicinal, kitchen and industial purposes.

TITLE
"NOVEL ORGANIC JAGGERY FROM SORGHUM "
Field of Invention :
This invention relates to invention of Organic Jaggery (Our) from the steam of Sorghum. This product i.e. Jaggery has all the properties of' ordinary Jaggery with added value for health nutrition and other purposes.
Background and prior art of the Invention :
Various types of Jaggery have been invented and are in market. Jaggery from palm and from other such fruits like dates is a traditional art.
Recently in the field of invention syrup has been prepared from sweet sorghum. II has also been declared by a scientist Dr. Nandini Nimkar that the sorghum syrup is a replacement to honey, but jaggery cannot be prepared.
Various agricultural institutes have researched on sorghum. Different kinds of juices and syrups are being given. National Research Centre for Sorghum has various AH India Co-ordinated Sorghum improvement Projects. All the projects give results which were similar to sweet juices, honey or other products leading to preparation of wine or similar drinks.

The necessity of preparing some form of solid substance which is of clinical and practical human use is still persistant
The objective of the present invention is to provide with a product known as Jaggery (Gur) from the organic crop Sorghum. The present invention Jaggery (Gur) has many folds extra new properties which till now has not been found or invented.

STATEMENT OF INVENTION
5'.' ■In accordance with the present invention Organic Jaggery in solid form is
a new preparation of juice from sorghum. This, organic jaggery in solid
form has medicinal, health and other consumptional properties along with the ordinary properties of any other jaggery. This, organic jaggery in
solid form has a shelf value of more than one year.
SUMMARY OF INVENTIONS
In order to obviate the above mentioned draw backs the present invention is a preparation of sorghum juice mixed with minor proportion of i sugarcane juice and solidification process. The whole process with the adjustable volumes of juices and proper timing for solidification yields jaggery in a solid state with high amount of solidifying properties and retention properties of much longer period of time; such as much more than one year.

Preferred and optional features
In one of the preferred embodiments in the present invention, sweet Sorghum stems are used. From one acre crop of sorghum one tone juice is extracted.
Sorghum steam juice mixed with sugarcane juice in the ration of around 3:1 or 65:35 is mixed. The proportion of the mixtures of steam juice varying from 65 % to 75 % and sugarcane juice varying from 35% to 40% is capable of being mixed. The process of mixing is the simple method of preparation of mixture.
By means of mechanical process the above mixture is made to undergo solidification. The degree of hardness varies from medium to high level. After a particular duration of time the solid state organic jaggery is obtained.

In addition to the above proportion of mixture the sorghum juice quantity can be adjusted but with a view that the solidification is successfully done.
The present invention i.e. organic jaggery in solid state has yielded results confirming to the standards of Gur as per P.F.A Rules, 1955 (See Annxure 1).
The present invention is useful for medicinal purposes having high nutritional value and can be used as a base for preparation of other consumptional liquids. It is also highly useful for industrial use.
In the optional features sorghum steam juice can be combined with any other organic juice having similar properties of sugar cane juice is also used. Solidification of the mixture is the inventive step that requires expert skill and observation of the instrument or technician who is carrying out the process of solidification.
EXPERIMENT :
The inventor carried the experiment from the sorghum crop in the farm of" Mr. Tale of Bordi village. from one acre land one lone sham is collected. Out of this 15 kg steam has been kept for experimentation. From 15 kg steam 5 kg juice could be extracted. Out of this 3.5 kg sorghum steam juice is mixed with 1.5 kg sugarcane juice. The mixing

procedure is the simple procedure of mixing in the pan. After heating the process of solidification has been carried out. / kg. solid jaggery is prepared after the solid jaggery is obtained, it is sent to the health department and district health laboratory. The health laboratory certified the product Gur conforming to the standards prescribed under PFA Rules, 1955.

I CLAIM
1. A Novel Organic Jaggery in perfect solid stale, prepared out of
juice extracted from the steam of sweet sorghum mixed with
sugarcane juice in minor proportion, solidifying to a high degree of
hardness, having medicinal, health, taste properties with cost
effectiveness

2. The organic jaggery as claimed in 1, wherein the sorghum steam juice is extracted from the sorghum which is a common agricultural crop known as sweet sorghum.
3. The organic jaggery as claimed in claim 1 & 2 wherein a minor amount of sugarcane juice is mixed to get a mixture of sorghum steam juice and sugarcane juice.
4. The organic jaggery as claimed in 1 to 3 after solidification of the mixture yields hardened piece of organic jaggery.
5. The organic jaggery as herein described with reference to the photograph
