Abstract A cement tubewell pipe cavity base for soft clay surface, wherein said base comprises of M.S. steel pipe, a collar at the outside of the upper portion and reverse threads provided on the inner side of the upper portion.
Full Text Field of the invention
The present invention relates to a cement tubewell pipe cavity base for soft clay surface.
Background
In the prior art, Gl pipes and PVC pipes were used in tubewell for drawing water from under the surface of the earth. Presently, cement tubewell pipes and cement tubewell filter slot are used for drawing water from under the surface of the earth. For installing the cement tubewell pipes, cement tubewell filter were used with the help of plate which was fitted at the lower end of the lower filter of the tubewell. It was, therefore, not possible to make a cement tubewell cavity or a cement tubewell filter cavity with the help of the plate fitted at the lower end of the lower filter of the tubewell.
It is well known that there are different types of clay such as sandy clay, hard clay and soft clay. The water under the surface of the earth is not at the same level which can be used for drinking purposes and also for irrigation purpose.
The water under the surface of the earth can be used for various purposes with the help of cement tubewell cavity.
Object of the invention
The present invention relates to a cement tubewell pipes cavity base for soft clay surface.
The major advantage of said base is that it saves surface of the cavity from erosion and prohibits the cement tubewell pipe to go beyond a certain level under the surface of the earth. The cement tubewell cavity base consists of a M.S. steel pipe having 8 mm thickness, 5 to 7 ft. length and its thickness is 9 to 11 diameter. At the outside and in the upper portion of the base, 1 inch or 2 inch collar is provided for mounting the cement tubewell pipe on the said base. In the inner side of the upper portion, there are reverse threads of 1/3 inch to 1/4 inch, which are atleast 10 to 12 in number.
Before seating the cement tubewell cavity base on a soft clay surface, said base is mounted on a mechanical device known as cement tubwell pipe lowerer unit.
This mechanical device is in accordance with the invention claimed under co-pending application no. 2335/Del/2004. This device is connected to a tubewell drilling pipe. The whole assembly is then lowered in the bore of the tubewell with the help of a tubewell drilling machine. The cement pipes are connected to one another with the help of a rubber ring.
Reference is made to co-pending patent application nos. 2335/Del/2004 and 2338/Del/2004.
After reaching a certain depth, the cement tubewell base for soft clay surface cavity is inserted in the bore by the help of drilling pipe moving upward and downward so that the lower portion of the base is inserted in the bore upto its collar and is fitted tightly. The drilling pipe is now tightened so that the cement tubewell pipe lowerer unit for soft clay surface releases the cement tubewell cavity base. The cement tubewell pipe lowerer unit is then brought out with the help of the drilling pipe once the base is seated at the correct position.
Summary of the invention
The present invention relates to a cement tubewell pipe cavity base for soft clay surface, wherein, said base comprises of M.S. steel pipe of 5 ft. to 7 ft. height and 9 inch to 11 inch diameter and 8 mm thickness, a collar of 1 inch to 2 inch at the outside of the upper portion reverse threads are provided on the inner side of the upper portion.

Detailed description of the accompanying drawings
Fig. 1 shows the connection of one cement pipe to another with the help of the rubber ring. The cement tubewell pipe base for soft clay surface cavity is inserted in the bore by the help of the upward and downward movement of the drilling so that the lower portion of the base is inserted in the bore up to its collar region.
Fig. 2 shows the reverse threads which helps in releasing the cement tubewell cavity base on soft clay surface. Once the said base is seated on the soft clay surface, the cement tubewell pipe lowerer unit is brought out by the help of the reverse movement of the threads by the drilling pipe.





We claim
1. A cement tubewell pipe cavity base for soft clay surface, wherein said base
comprises of:
- M.S. steel pipe,
- a collar at the outside of the upper portion and
- reverse threads provided on the inner side of the upper portion.

2. A base as claimed in claim 1, wherein the M.S. steel pipe is preferably of 5 ft.
to 7 ft. height.
3. A base as claimed in claim 1, wherein the M.S. steel pipe is preferably of 9
inch to 11 inch diameter and 8 mm thickness.
4. A base as claimed in claim 1, wherein the collar is preferably of 1 inch to 2
inch.
5. A base as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cement tubewell pipe are
connected with each other with the help of a ring as herein described.
6. A base as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said base is lowered on the soft
clay surface by means of a mechanical device.
7. A base as claimed in claim 1 substantially as herein described with reference
to the accompanying drawing.
