| Abstract | The invention relates to compression devices which are used to compress fibre bands in spinning machines provided with cover areas (15) for the region of compression, said areas being arranged in the path (24) of the material. The cover areas and the insert parts (16) which are embodied as plastic injection moulding parts and which support said cover areas are to be rounded off on all the edges thereof counter to the flow of material in order to prevent a build up of fibre collections on said cover areas. The separation joints (23) of the injection mould are arranged in such a manner that said injection mould is not disposed inside the flow of material. |
