Abstract This invention relates to a herbo-mineral formulation comprising mixture of the powders of 25 to 75 mg of Root of Shatavari (Asparagus recemosus), 25 to 75mg of fruit of Amalaki (Embilica oficinalis), 15 to 50mg each of stem of Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia), whole plant of Bhumyamlaki (Phyllanthus nirurii), whole plant of Mandukparni (Centella asiatica), whole plant of Bala (Sida cordiofolia), mixing of the fine powder of each of these ingredients thus obtained, mixing throughly 25mg to 75mg of Bhasma of Mukta Shukti (shell of oyster pearl).

BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
According to Ayurveda, "Bala" or "Ojas" is responsible for Vyadhikshmatwa (immunity). Rasayana therapy simultaneously effects the body and the rnind, and bringoul physical and psychic improvement. This therapy improves the development of intelligence and body, and increases the body resistance against the diseases. Even though there are many Rasayana drugs in practice, there is a need for effective Rasayana drugs for pediatric use hence it is imperative to develop a new Rasayana drug.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
An object of this invention is to propose a preparation for general immunity and
strengthening the body of children.
Another object of this invention is to propose a preparation for general immunity and strengthening the body of children which does not have side effects.

Still another object of this invention is to propose a preparation of general immunity and strengthening the body of children which is comparatively cheap in costs.
Yet another object of this invention is to propose a preparation ibr general immunity and strengthening (he body of children.
Further objects and advantages of this invention will be more apparent from the ensuing description.
DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
According to this invention there is provided a process for preparation of a licrbo-mineral formulation for general immunity and strengthening body of children comprising of cleaning and preparing line powder of 25 to 75mg of Root of Shatavari (Asparagus recemosus), 25 to 75mg of fruit of Amalaki (Embilica officinalis), 15 to 50mg each of stern of Guduchi (Tr.ospora cordifolia), whole plant of Bhumyamlaki (Phyllanthus nirurii), whole plant of Mandukparni (Centeila asiatica), whole plant of Bala (Sida cordiofolia)., mixing of the fine powder of each of these ingredients thus obtained, mixing thoroughly 25m£ to 75 nig of Bhasma of Mukta Shukti (shell of oyster pearl) prepared in convcnjional manner obtaining the formulation of I he present invention,
Further according (o this invention there is provided A herbo-mincra! formulation comprising mixture of the powders of 25 to 75tng of Root of Shatavari (Asparagus recemosus), 25 to 75mg of fruit of Amalaki (Embilica officinalis), 15 to 50mg cacii of stem of Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia), whole plant of Bhumyamlaki (Phyllanthus nirurii), whole plant of mandukpami (Centeila asiatica), wiiole plant of Bala (Sida cordiofolia) and 25 nig to 75 mg of Bhasma of Mukta Shukti (shell of oyster pearl).

In accordancae with this invention, the preparation comprises:
1. Root of Shatavari (Asparagus reccmosus)- (25 mg. To 75 mg.)
2. Fruit of Amalaki (Embilica officinalis) - (25 mg. To 75 mg.)
3. Stem of Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia)- (15 mg. To 50 mg.)
4. Whole plant of Bhumyamlaki (Phyllanthus nururii) (15 mg. To 50 mg.)
5. Whole plant of Mandukparni (Ccnlella nsialica) 15 ing. To 50 mg.)
(>. Whole jilani ofBala (Sicla cordiofolia) (15 mg. To 50 mg,) and
7. Mukta Shukli (Shell of oyster pearl) (25 mg. To 75 mg.)
In accordance with this invention the authentic raw ingredients were first cleaned and coarse powder of first 6 raw ingredients prcpare'd. The fine form of coarse powder obtained by using 80 mesh sieve.
Ingredients No. 7 Mukta Shukli Oluisma prepared as per Ayurvedic Formulary of India t'art-1.
Find power of different ingredients mixed together homogeniously. Admixture of fine powder of 6 ingredients mixed well with Mukta Shiikti Bhasma.

Gum Acacia, a binding agent or any other compatible agent in the required quantity mixed with the above mixture of all 7 ingredients.
Sterile conditions are maintained through out the process. Tablets of drug were prepared by Tableting machine,
Reference is now made to the ensuing example but which is not included to imnlv anv limitation on the scope of the invention.

40 mgs. of root of shatavari, 60 nigs, of fruit of amalaki, 20 mgs. of stem of guduchi, 30
mgs. of bliumyamlaki, 15 mgs: of mandukparni, 35 mgs. of bala were dried and
pulverized by using 80 mesh size. The aforesaid constituents were mixed with 40 nig.*
of Milk la Shukli prepared by Ayurvcdic formulary of India Part 1. Tablets were formed
of such a mixture.
The preparation had the following properties:
Loss on drying at I05°C : Not more than 8.1 percent VV/VV
