| Abstract | TITLE: DEMULTIPLEXING DEVICES AND PROCESS FOR MERGING AT LEAST TWO TRANSPORT STREAMS AND A CORRESPONDING DIGITAL STREAM. The invention relates to demultiplexing devices and process for merging for at least two transport streams each of said trasport sterams comprising packets characterized in that said demultiplexing device comprises: at least one merging unit, intended to receive at least two of said transport steams and to produce one merged stream comprising a merged arrangement of the packets of said received transport streams said merging units comprising means for markiing each of said packets with an identifier and to assign to said identifier a given value for each of said received transport streams, and at least one demultiplexer corresponding respectively to each of said merging units each of said demultiplexers being intended to receive and to demultiplex the merged stream produced by the merging unit corresponding to said demultiplexer said demultiplexer being able to filter said identifiers and to determine thereby the received transport streams from which the corresponding packets are derived. |
