Abstract

Benzofuran compounds of general formula: and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, in which formula: A represents a linear or branched C1-C5 alkylene group optionally substituted by a hydroxyl group, R30 and R31, taken together, represent a carbonyl group with the carbon to which they are attached or represent a group of general formula: —0 —R29-0- (m) in which R29 represents a C1-C4 alkylene group, T represents hydrogen or a C1-C4 alkyl radical, R represents: the formyl or tetrazolyl group, an ester group of general formula: in which R4 represents a linear or branched C1-C6 alkyl group or a C3-C6 cycloalkyl group, a carboxyl group of general formula: in which Rio represents a linear or branched C1-C4 alkylene group, R11 represents hydrogen or a C1-C4 alkyl radical, R12 represents a C1-C4 alkyl radical, a group of general formula: (9) in which R32 and R33, which are identical or different, represent a linear or branched C1-C4 alkyl group, R1 represents hydrogen, a linear or branched C1-C6 alkyl group, a C3-C6 cycloalkyl group, or R1 represents a group of general formula: — R23-OH (i) in which R23 represents a linear or branched C1-C6 alkylene group, R2. and R3, which are..identical or different, represent.hydrogen,, a. linear or branched C1-C6 alkyl group optionally substituted by one or more halogen atoms or by a pyrrolidinyl group, a C3-C6 cycloalkyl group or a group of general formula: -R24—0-R25 (k) in which R24 represerlts a linear or branched C1-C4 alkylene group and R25 represents a linear or branched C1-C4 alkyl group, W, W and Z are such that when W represents CH and W represents C-R13, Z represents -CH= -R-I4 , R13 and R14 being identical or different and representing hydrogen, a halogen atom, a C1-C4 alkyl radical, X represents -O-, these benzofuran compounds being in the form of individual isomers or of mixtures of the latter.
