Title of Invention

TEA/COFFEE TABLETS ,AMPOULES/VIALS OF TEA/COFFEE SYRUPS, WHOLESOME TEA/COFFEE POUCHES (DRY/LIQUID/)BAGS(OF TITTLES VARIETY)

Abstract Tea/coffee tablet, ampoule/vial containing tea/coffee syrup and wholesome tea/coffee pouch containing liquid or dry content characterized in that- i)sugar forms 60-80% of the total weight of the tea/coffee tablet or of the total weight of tea/coffee syrup in vial/ampoule or of the total weight of dry/liquid content in wholesome tea/coffee pouch whereby sugar, being above 60% of the total weight in all the preparations, plays a role of natural preservative for tea/coffee, especially in all the liquid preparations, and thus helps to avoid the degradation of antioxidants in tea/coffee; ii)tea/coffee syrup in ampoule/vial or the liquid content in wholesome tea/coffee pouch does not require any solubilizing agent as the basic content of tea leaves or coffee powder keeps getting leached out in the sugar solution thereby making it richer everyday and getting preserved in the same process, and as a result antioxidants in the resultant brew last long and do not deleriorate with time.
Full Text BACKGROUND
Morning cup of tea/coffee comes to the lip of consumer after lot of prior preparations: he
or somebody on his behalf has to store tea/coffee and sugar in safe and separate containers
with lids tightly shut, and then he has to take out the required quantity of each one by one for
stirring in hot mixture of water/milk before hurrying up and going back to shut the lid again so
that aroma of stored tea or coffee does not go out and sugar does not attract the moisture. Yet,
repeated opening closing of the container does not stop last few fittings of tea/coffee from
becoming a "spent force".
Obviously, one cannot enjoy the satisfaction of self-made tea whenever he is out of his
house or is traveling and thereby has to bank on tea or coffee vendors with or without sense of
hygiene.
OBJECT OF INVENTION
To save the consumers from all these care and trouble and to let them make their own
tea or coffee wherever and whenever they want, they can now rely on vials or ampoules of
tea/coffee syrups together with tablets of milk powder or pouches-vials-ampoules of condensed
milk, if any. AB they all have to obtain is hot mixture of water-milk, which can be carried in
thermo flask or can be safely obtained from outside source/vendors. Wholesome tea/coffee
pouches obviously aims to provide more convenience, as one would be required to obtain only
hot water from outside source.
Affording full use of industrial applications including assembly-line techniques, as never
before in the brew industry, all these products are intended to help bring down the hand-use to
nil or bare-minimum from manufacturing (at gardens) to consumption level. Serving as first-ever
realization of scientific principle of preservation through sugar using lab tools and techniques to
ensure total hygiene in teafcoffee industry, they do not disturbing conventional mode of
consuming brew, hot or cold.
SUMMARY OF INVENTION
A vial/ampoule of tea/coffee syrup is made by churning/stirring tea leaves or coffee
powder together with sugar in small quantity of water in such a percentage that the sugar forms
60-80 per cent of the total weight of liquid in viats/ampoula. With sugar being above-60 % of the
weight of Squid, one can expect sugar to play a natural preservative for tea and coffee liquor
and thus help avoid the degradation of antioxidants Hi tea or coffee liquid with time.
Such route can also help making of rich brew even after storage over a period of time.
Ampoules or viels can be cut to squeeze out its content into a cup having hot mixture of
water/milk for the final Drew.
Further, if dried tea leaves as a whole or coffee beans (not graded) are crushed and
tabletized along with sugar or even without it and then packed in strip packs with the help of any
industrial machine at garden level, such tablets will no doubt make brew-making the most
convenient thing in the world plus being completely safe. This may or may not require a
separate sieve-cum-holder for stirring such tablets in hot ready-made mixture of sugar-water-
milk, as per recipe supplied. One can easily get it from outside sources like vendors or vending
machine or just keep such mixture in refrigerator at home. All were succinctly brought out long
back in the label filed before Trade Mark authority for registering the name of product,
BrewQuick vide receipt no RR 111247/20 dt 8.10.2001.
As regards dry or liquid version of wholesome tea/coffee pouches/bags (amended into
patent application through Form 13). it may be said that it combines an the said Ingredients
(tea/coffee, sugar. milk) required for a cup of final brew. Technically or industrially speaking for
liquid variant, it involves addition of concentrated tea/coffee liquor to milk just one stage ahead
of total drying, with the emphasis on keeping the sugar level at 60-80 per cent of total weight of
liquid thus produced. Alternately, It can be produced by post-production churning of tea leaves
or coffee powder in sugar-fortified condensed milk just produced and later filtering the dry
powder off. The dry version can be prepared by mixing standardized quantity of each ingredient
arrived at after extensive taste trials and packing in smarter-smaller (tittles) version of tea/coffee
bags different from loose-slumping tea/coffee bags available in market.
AH the liquid generated as mentioned above can be aromatized or flavoured, if
necessary. More simply put, the said ingredients can also be put together in the manner of
jam/jetty (chai-prash"!) and offered in a pouch or sachet in order to make a cup of tea or coffee.
I claim:
1. Tea/coffee tablet, ampoule/vial containing tea/coffee syrup and wholesome tea/coffee pouch
containing liquid or dry content characterized in that-
i) sugar forms 60-80% of the total weight of the tea/coffee tablet or of the total weight of
tea/coffee syrup in viel/ampoule or of the total weight of dry/liquid content in wholesome
tea/coffee pouch whereby sugar, being above 60% of the total weight in all the preparations,
plays a role of natural preservative for tea/coffee, especially in all the liquid preparations, and
thus helps to avoid the degradation of antioxidants in tea/coffee;
ii) tea/coffee syrup in ampoule/viel or the liquid content in wholesome tea/coffee pouch does not
require any solubilizing agent as the basic content of tea leaves or coffee powder keeps getting
leached out in the sugar solution thereby making it richer everyday and getting preserved in the
same process, and as a result antioxidants in the resultant brew last long and do not deteriorate
with time.
2. Tea/coffee tablet as claimed in claim 1 wherein the said tablet is made right from the dried tea
leaves or coffee beans (not graded).
3. Tea/coffee tablet as claimed in claim 1 wherein tea leaves/coffee powder are mixed with
sugar in dry form and tablelized, or tea leaves/coffee powder in dry form are tablelized sans
sugar with the help of any tabletizing machine at garden level and then strip-packed Individually
to half/arrest the fading aroma on every use during storage of brew as is commonly done today.
4. Tea/coffee syrup as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said tea/coffee syrup is made by
churning/stirring tea leaves or coffee powder together with sugar in small quantity of water in
such a percentage that the sugar forms 60-80 per cent of the total weight of liquid in
vial/ampoule.
5. Wholesome tea/coffee pouch as claimed in claim 1, wherein the liquid content of the pouch is
produced by adding concentrated tea/coffee liquor to milk just one stage ahead of letter"s total
drying with the emphasis on keeping the sugar level at 60-80% of the total weight of thick liquid
concert produced by drying the liquid milk commonly available.
6. Wholesome tea/coffee pouch as claimed in claim 1, wherein the liquid content of the pouch is
also produced by post-production churning of tea leaves or coffee powder in sugar-fortified
condensed milk just produced and later filtering the dry powder off whereas its dry version is
made by Just mbdng the standardized quantity of each Ingredient (sugar/milk/tea) arrived at after
extensive taste trials both on open and blind test basis.
