Title of Invention

VEHICLE SADDLE WITH AIR VENTILATION SYSTEM

Abstract The present invention is "a Vehicle Saddle with Air Ventilation System" which comprises of:- An outer seat cover (1) or an outer seat cover (10), the central region (3) of which is moulded into a straight channel, forming a concave shape. Along the said channel, there is a plurality of air gaps (2). A pipe (4) connects the said air gaps to pipe opening (5) in the front side of the vehicle. A grid comprising if vertical or horizontal blinds (6) is positioned on the said pipe opening (5). The blinds are connected to a knob (7). A DC motor (8) is placed exactly below the air gaps (2), and a small fan (9) is attached to it.

The following specification particularly describes the nature of this invention & the manner in which it is performed:

The present invention relates to a vehicle saddle with air ventilation system, which avoids sweat between the thighs.
Description of prior arts:
Existing vehicle saddles comprise of a seat with a foam cushion between the outer cover
and the inner support.
Other existing vehicle saddles include a,seat cover which is adjustably inflatable, and which provides added comfort to the driver only by adding cushion.
However in the existing vehicle saddles, the driver feels discomfort due to sweating in between the thighs, which is the result of prolonged driving.
In general, therefore, in the existing vehicle saddles there is no means for air ventilation to avoid sweat between the thighs.
Further, in existing vehicle saddles the seat is convex in shape, which exerts pressure on the tailbones of the body.
i
Object of the present inventions
It is a primary object of the present invention to provide a vehicle saddle which is capable
of providing air ventilation while the vehicle is.in. motion as well as when it is stationary.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle saddle with air ventilation which is inexpensive.
Description of the present invention:
The present invention will now be explained in detail with help of figures l, 2, 3 & 4 of
Figure 1 shows the isometric view embodiment of the present invention.

Figure 2 shows a sectional view of the present invention.
Figure 3 shows the kind of seat that is used in another embodiment of the present invention.
Figure 4 shows an embodiment of the present invention to be used ia a bicycle.
Figure 1 illustrates outer seat cover (1), air gaps (2), central region (3), pipe (4), pipe opening (5)f blinds (6) & knob (7).
Figure 2 illustrates outer seat cover (1), air gaps (2), pipe (4), DC motor (8) & small fan
(n
Figure 3 illustrates the seat cover (10).
Figure 4 illustrates the seat cover (11), the central region (3), air gaps (2).
One embodiment of the present invention comprises of a vehicle saddle with an outer seat cover (1). The centfai region (3) of the said seat cover is moulded into a straight channel forming a concave shape, as shown in the Figurs 1. Along the said channel, there rs a series of air gaps (2). A pipe (4) connects the air gaps to pipe opening in the front side of the vehicle. A grid comprising of vertical or horizontal blinds (6) is positioned on the said pipe opening (5). The blinds are connected to a knob (7). When the knob is turned, the blinds rotate, in turn, opening or closing the pipe opening (5). ADC motor (ยง) is placed exactly below the air gaps (2), and a small fan (9) is attached to it.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the outer seat cover (10) is as shown in Figure 3, for use in three-wheelers as well as four-wheelers. The remaining construction is same as in the first embodiment above.

In a third embodiment, the seat cover (11) is as shown in Figure 4. The central region (3) of the said seat cover is moulded into a straight channel, forming a concave shape. Along the said channel, there is a series of air gaps (2).
The working of the present invention is as follows:
When the vehicle is in motion, the blinds (6) are maintained in the open position with the help of the knob (7). The air enters pipe (4) through the opening (5) and moves out through the air gaps (2) provided on the seat cover. This facilitates air ventilation when the vehicle is in motion.
When the vehicle is stationary, the DC motor (8) is switched ON, which turns on the fan (9)? thereby providing air ventilation when the vehicle is stationary.
Although the invention has been described with reference to specific embodiments of the invention, it should be understood that certain changes in construction would be evident to one skilled in the art and would not depart from the spirit and scope of this invention.
Advantages:
The present invention provides air ventilation while the vehicle is in motion as well as
when it is stationary thus avoids discomfort due to sweating in between the thighs.
The concave shape of the seat in the present invention reduces pressure on the tail bones and private parts of the body
The present invention provides an inexpensive and affordable means of air ventilation.
