Abstract A Twist Chair comprising a seat "xed on a seat base being mounted In an overall frame, the chair having armrests on the two sides and 8 backrest at the back, 2 handle rods having hand twister throttle on the 2 sides pivotally fixed on handle rod attachment on both sides, the overall frame having at one end two foot twister mounted upon a foot twister mount.

This Invention basically relates to the field of medical equipments. This Invention Is further concerned with exercising Instruments, meant for maintenance and enhancement of human health. Further, this Instrument relates to bringing greater supplements and flexibility of the connected parts of the human body.
This Invention has ail along addressed the problem of researching, Investigating and Inventing a novel device, which will provide Twisting movements to the different parts of the human body. This Invention has all along also addressed the problem of developing a device, which will provide spiral movement to the different parts of the human body. Thus, this is a path breaking invention and a breakthrough, after years of extensive application, research, development leading to the evolution of an equipment which provides the much needed spiral and twist movements to the desired parts/Joints of the human body.
The usefulness of this unique invention must be assessed against the backdrop of such existing devices. The presently available devices do not, in one single equipment, cater to so manyjoints and parts of the human body simultaneously while the current invention "TWIST CHAIR" supports, activates and improves all conceivable Joints of the human body. The present day scenario Is also that no single device provides such unique motions as spiral and twist movements, which are considered uncommon movements of the human body In the prevalent sedentary style of life.

Accordingly, It Is the primary object of the Invention to Invent a novel exercising equipment, which Is unique.
It Is another object of the Invention to Invent a novel, gymnastic, sporting equipment, which is uniquely devised.
It Is another object of the Invention to invent a novel device, which is unique in application with regard to medical sciences.
It is another object of the invention to invent a new and novel device which is unique In that it could be used by healthy and also indisposed individuals.
Further objects of the Invention will be clear from the following description. Now, the invention will be described in detail in the following description. The nature of the Invention is described in detail In this complete specification.
The research minded author of this complete specification and the invention, after years of experience as professor and medical practitioner, investigated, researched, arrived at and invented a product, which has resulted In the present 'TWIST CHAIR".
It Is a unique product and there Is no other product which gives such multiple benefits to so many parts of the human body at the turn of a joint, as It were. Our limited trials establish its use in an unequivocal manner.

It has been found that this clinical, gymnastic, sporting, orthopedic, exercising equipment, all rolled Into one, when used. In the right manner provides Immense benefits to the various Joints of the body like spinal joints, hip joints, shoulder joints, elbow joints, wrist joints, knee joints, ankle joints, neck joints, pelvic joints etc. This unique device provides spiral as also twisting movements to the various joints of the human body. It has also been established that no Ill-effects are observed on Individuals as long as the spiral and twisting motions conform to the required wave length. It is worth mentioning that this equipment Is sure to have widespread application in gymnasia, clinics, hospitals, homes, industries, health centers, etc.
The invention will now be described In detail in the following complete specification and with the help of illustrations.
TWIST CHAIR is a specially designed instrument useful in creating twist and spiral motions of the body joints/parts, so necessary as a therapy In the medical field, for the alleviation of pain and improvement of functioning of parts/joints and strengthening of the same. The novel TWIST CHAIR performs a dual function of facilitating SPIRAL and TWIST movements to various parts/joints of the body like spine, lower limb and upper limb. The facility of spiral and twist movements available together In this unique device, Is ensured by provision of spring and rotation mechanism at various places In the TWIST CHAIR.

The principle underlying the above mnentioned TWIST THERAPY is highlighted in the below mentioned lines: The basic principle Involved is the universal concept of spiral energy which is expressed in hurrian body In various forms viz., (a) spiral arrangement of hair follicles in the vortex (b) spiral arrangement of human finger prints (c) spiral blood circulation in the umbilical cord In the foetus (d) spiral arrangement of DMA.
The construction of a TWIST CHAIR will now be described with reference to the enclosed drawings:

DRAWING - 1:
I. Isometric view of TWIST CHAIR:
The Invented chair comprises a seat (A), fixed on a seat base (B). The chair provides for two armrests (C) and a Backrest (D) each with spring attached beneath. The extra provisions to the chair Include 2 handle rods(E) on the sides of the chair provided In such a way as to

enable the occupant to grip the handles, comfortably. At the top end of the handle rod. Is the hand twister throttle(F) - both of the handle rods and hand twister throttle being provided with sprlng(G) (H) beneath to facilitate revolving motions, whenever desired. The two handles at the bottom end have a handle rod attachment (I) to facilitate removal of handle and replacement with other desired handles. The occupant of the chair can stretch legs and keep them on the pedestal below the seat OR on the foot twlsters(J) mounted on a foot twister mount(K), the foot twister having sprlngs(L) beneath for enabling rotation and forward and backward motion.

II. Posterior View of Twist Chair.
Arm Rest labelled 1 and Back Rest labelled 2 herein correspond to C & D of the Isometric View while Handle Rod and Hand Twister Throttle labelled 3 & 4 herein synchronize with parts E & F as appearing in the Isometric View. The labelled parts 5 Handle Spring and 6 Handle Rod Attachments are nothing but parts G & I of the Isometric View and seen from a different perspective.
It will be seen that labelled parts 7 and 8 Viz., Back Rest Spring assembly and Back Rest Hinge, are seen in this view but not depicted in the Isometric view. The backrest spring assembly facilitates movement of the spiral motions, multi directionaily. The labelled parts 9, 10 & 11 viz.. Foot Twister, Foot Twister Mount, and Foot Twister Spring herein are the same parts as labelled parts 3, K & L appearing in the Isometric View.

III. SIDEVIEW OF TWIST CHAIR
The'labeled parts CI, D2, viz., Arm Rest and Back Rest herein are the same as C & D appearing In Isometric View and corresponding parts In the Posterior View. Similarly, labelled parts E3 & F4 viz., Handle Rod, & Hand Twister Throttle, herein correspond to E & F of the Isometric View as also the corresponding parts of the posterior view. Likewise, labelled parts G5, 16 viz., Handle Rod Spring, Handle Rod Attachment correspond to labelled parts G & I of the Isometric View and similar parts In the Posterior View. It can also seen that labelled parts 29, KIO, Lll herein viz., Foot Twister, Foot Twister Mount, Foot Twister Spring are nothing but labelled parts 2, K, L of the Isometric View seen from different perspective as also the corresponding parts In Posterior View.
It will be observed that except parts MS, N7, 012 and P13, the remaining parts of this view are the same as seen in the other views but seen from the side. Thus 4 parts viz., M8 - BACK REST HINGE , N7 - BACK REST SPRING ASSEMBLY, 012 - MAIN CHAIR SPRING, P13 -FOOT LENGTH ADJUSTING CLAMP are additionally seen in this view but cannot be seen in all other views. While the Backrest spring assembly (N7) provides for multidirectional spinal motions. Main Chair Spring (012) ensures spiral twisting motions of the Chair itself. Thereby allowing swirling movement of the entire upper trunk, by \ lay of forward, backward and spiral movement. However, foot lenith adjusting clamp (P13) provides for adjustments In the foot Ianith desired by the occupant.

The essence of the Invention consists of a TWIST CHAIR comprising a seat fixed on a seat base underneath which is a spring attached thereto, the chair having 2 armrests having springs and a baci The invention and its utility Is described in detail herein below with reference to the enclosed drawings.
The drawings of TWIST CHAIR would clearly highlight that the device serves the purpose of administering TWIST THERAPY, whenever so required or desired. The faculties provided in the Invention of TWIST CHAIR are meant to maintain, activate, Improve and fortify the various organs/joints of the human body, through allowing for spiral and twist motions. The parts to be used and corresponding benefit to the human system, by using the device of the TWIST CHAIR are enumerated herein below:

I CLAIM:
1. A Twist Chair comprising a seat fixed on a seat base being mounted In an overall frame, the chair having armrests on the two sides and a backrest at the back, 2 handle rods having hand twister throttle on the 2 sides pivotally fixed on handle rod attachment on both sides, the overall frame living at one end two foot twisters mounted upon a foot twister mount.
2. A Twist Chair as claimed in claim 1, having a seat underneath which is a main chair spring for facilitating multidirectional movement.
3. A Twist Chair as claimed In claim %, wherein the armrest on the two sides have springs underneath for facilitating desired movement.
4. A Twist Chair as claimed In claim 1, wherein the backrest Is supported by springs underneath to enable movement of the backrest.
5. A Twist Chair as claimed in claim 1, wherein the handle rods are positioned on the handle rod attachments with springs in between.
6. A Twist Chair as claimed in claim 1, wherein the hand Twister Throttles are positioned above the handle rods with provision of springs in between.
7. A Twist Chair as claimed in claim 1, wherein the handle rods of requisite and varying length can be detachably fixed on the handle rod attachment on either side.
8. A Twist Chair as claimed in claim 1, wherein the backrest spring assembly provided on the 2 sides of the backrest enable spiral movements.

9. A Twist Chair as claimed In claim 1, wherein the backrest hinge
provided at the base of backrest allows for up and down movement.
10. A Twist Chair as claimed In claim 1, wherein the legs can be placed on
the pedestal/frame.
11. A Twist Chair as claimed In claim 1, wherein the legs can be placed on
the foot twisters.
12. A Twist Chair as claimed in claim 1 and 11, wherein the Foot twister
has enabling springs on the 2 sides for facilitating action of the ankle,
legs knee and toe.
13. A Twist Chair as claimed In claim 1, wherein the foot twister mount Is
adjustable In length by way of foot length adjusting clamps, which are
provided for.
14. A Twist Chair substantially as herein described with reference to the
enclosed drawings.
