Full Text | THE PATENTS ACT. 1970 (39 of 1970) COMPELETE SPECIFICATION [Section 10, rule 13] ORIGINAL 713/MUMNP/2003 ROTARY FILM EVAPORATOR HEMANTBHAI HARICHARAN GOEL D-35, SARDAR ESTATE, AJWA ROAD, VADODARA-390019 GUJARAT, INDIA INDIAN The following specification particularly describes the nature of the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed GRANTED 3-1-2005 TECHANICAL FIELD The invention relates to a film evaporator, more specially a rotary film evaporator for heating feed stock. PRIOR ART The rotary film evaporator is used mainly for manufacturing and processing of chemicals, drugs and petroleum products. In manufacturing and processing of chemicals drugs and petroleum products, so many steps are there, like heating of feed stock at desired temperature, transforming the feed stock into vapor by the process of evaporation, collection of vapor, and condensation of vapor in solid powder/crystal form .the conventional system of these process is carried out one by one step on different equipment separately on large scale or small scale up to capacity 100 liters which is very much expensive and time consuming. This conventional method has many operation and economical limitations which are over come by present invention. The invention of rotary film evaporator overcomes all the above drawbacks and the above processes are done simultaneously without affecting other process. Continuously output is obtained through this invention up to feed stock capacity liters. OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION The main objective of the invention is to reduce the different equipment for the continuous process for manufacturing or processing the drugs chemicals or petroleum products The further objective of the invention is to do economical job The further objective of the invention is to save time to get the same output. The further objective of the invention is to reduce the breakage of glassware due to rotation method as roller clamps and gears provided in suitable manner controlling the speed of the rotation SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Rotary film evaporator for heating feed stock comprising a evaporation glass flask of required size depending upon projected processing of feed stock, heating bath (B) underneath the flask, pair of roller clamps (C) to facilitate the rotation of borosilicate evaporation glass flask ( A ) and attached to two sides of the flask, arrangement of rotation gears (D) between the roller clamping , a rotating seal (E) provided provide between borosilicate evaporator flask and vapor line (F) which is attached to condenser (G) and receiver (I) the evaporation glass flask has large cylindrical shape of 400 liters capacity heated by heating bath to cover to convert he feed stock into vapor by rotating the glass flask with the help of rotating seal, vapor line provided adjacent rotating seal to carry the vapor to condenser and then to receiver , roller clamps and rotating gear arranged in such a way that it efficiently control the speed of the rotation , wherein valve H has been provided in the receiver and position of the roller clamps are that these are the parallel to each other . BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS FIG- Shows the front view of the rotary film evaporator, DETAILED BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Rotary film evaporator as shown in fig-1 has a borosilicate glass flask (A) in which feed stock is stored and heated .A heating bath (B) is provided for applying heat in borosilicate evaporation glass flask. Roller clamps (C) are provided for rotation of same glass flask. Rotation gears arrangement (D) is provided to regulate the speed of rotation of borosilicate evaporation flask .A rotating seal (E) provided between borosilicate glass flask and vapor line (F) .In receiver (I) valves (H) are provided which get feed from condenser. WORKING OF THE INVENTION. Heat transfer carries out stage of converting feed stock into vapor by rotating borosilicate flask in which feed stock are stored. Transfer of heat by convection between a stream of liquid or gas and by conduction through a solid surface of the flask is encountered/whenever a liquid flows through a solid surface of flak a thin fluid film tends to adhere to the surface and due to rotation of the flask at specified speed so this film will be there constantly. The value of overall heat transfer coefficient has a value nearer to the heat transfer coefficient of the controlling film. The constant thin layer on the flask due to rotation also ensures uniform heat distribution without local heating. The facility to work the unit under full vacuum further facilitates evaporation at as low temperature as possible facilitating reduced boiling point and reduces time significantly. this is very useful in treating heat of sensitive materials and crystallization process. When a saturated vapor comes in contact with a cold surface, heat transfer takes place. accomplice by a phase change in form of condensation. Temperature difference is driving force by which the heat is transferred from a source to receiver. the performance of the process invented depends on various parameters such as temperature difference between heating bath and contents of feed stock in the borosilicate flask ,rotation per minute of the flask, flask capacity and working pressure. this process is effective and can be used under full vacuum or at atmospheric pressure and is idle for heat sensitive material due to uniform heating at low temperature, with enhanced heat transfer area.. The evaporation glass flask is feed with the feed stock and heated with heating bath. The evaporation glass flak is rotated with feed stock and heated at desired temperature. in this way feed stock is converted in vapor using lesser energy for heating at faster speed as more space area available for conversion due to rotation of the evaporation flask The converted vapor passes through vapor line and is received after condensation in the receiver. The end product solid, slurry, or liquid is collected from the evaporation glass flask or condensed material in the receiver depending upon the feed stock used in this process. WE Claim, 1.
