| Abstract | A washer (1) comprises a body having a first surface (3)a second surface (4) located at opposite axial sides and adapted to cooperate with a nut and an object to be assembled or disassembled respectively ,and at least one additional turning resistant surface(5)located radially inwardly of said body to cooperate with a bolt ,the turning resistant surface having means providing friction between the body and bolt to frictionally impede the bolt from turning and at the same time to allow the bolt to be displaced in an axial direction when the nut is turned,the second surface (4)having means to provide friction between the body and the object and to impede the body from turning ,and the first surface (3)having means to provide a smaller frictional characteristics than the second surface (4)to at least reduce dragging of the body into turning by the turning nut. |
