Title of Invention

METAL OBJECT WITH COLOURFUL GLITTERING EFFECTS THEREON

Abstract The present invention provides metal object with colourful glittering effects thereon comprising metal object, as herein defined, having glittering means on either side or both the sides of the said metal object wherein the said glittering means consisting of a primary foil and a secondary foil superimposed on each other with any design made from zinc blocks to produce glittering effect or to produce colour effect.
Full Text This invention relates to metal object with colourful glittering effects thereon.
The metal objects available in the market do not have a colourful glittering effect on their surface. It is therefore the object of this invention to produce the colourful glittering metal objects with any design on their surface so as to make the said metal objects attractive in appearance.
To achieve the said objective, this invention provides glittering metal object which comprises metal objects, as herein defined, having glittering means on either side or both the sides of the metal object wherein the glittering means consists of a primary foil and a secondary foil superimposed on each other with any design made from zinc blocks to produce mirage effect or to produce colour effect on the said metal objects.
The metal object is silver or gold or metal coin.
The primary foil is a coated polypropylene film which produces the colour effect and the secondary foil is made of polyvinyl chloride to produce the colourful glittering effect.
The said glittering means is applied on the metal objects with the help of acrylic emulsion.
The invention will now be described with reference to the following example:
2

EXAMPLE:
The desired design is drawn on the paper by hand and after adjusting the size of the drawing in comparison to the metal objects, namely, silver coin, gold coin or metal coin. The design is prepared on the Zinc block with the help of the negative and positive bromides of the desired design.
The secondary foil is transferred on the transparent primary foil with the heated zinc block as per the design on the underside of the block. The said combination of primary foil and secondary foil is placed on the metal objects viz. silver coin with adhesive and is kept for a period of 24 hours, so that the said combination of foils along with the design adheres firmly to the coin. This combination of foils with the design is applied on either side of the coin to produce the glittering effect.

I claim:
1. The metal object with colourful glittering effects thereon comprising metal object, as herein defined, having glittering means on either side or both the sides of the said metal object wherein the said glittering means consisting of a primary foil and a secondary foil superimposed on each other with any design made from zinc blocks to produce glittering effect or to produce colour effect.
2. The metal object as claimed in claim 1 wherein the metal object is a silver or gold coin or metal coin.
3. The metal object as claimed in claim 1 wherein the primary foil is a coated polypropylene film, which produces the mirage effect and the, secondary foil is PVC.
4. The metal object as claimed in claim 1 wherein the glittering means is applied to the metal objects with acrylic emulsion.
6. The metal object with colourful glittering effects thereon substantially as herein described with reference to the foregoing example.
