Abstract | This invention in general relates to the process of dyeing the yarn with herbal extracts with medicinal value taken from the medicinal plants. The novelty ties in the process of coloring the yarn with herbal extracts with simple conditions without using any harmful synthetic dyes and other chemical agents. In this process first the yarn is sterilized in pure water at lOO˚C for about 3 hour. Secondly, any part of medicinal plant with medicinal property is suitably cut/ Sliced/ ground. and it is boiled at 100˚Cor about 3 hours and the decoction is separated by extraction. 1birdly, the sterilized yarn is immersed in herbal dyeing extract ao1ution at boiling condition for about 3 hour8 until the ingredients are absorbed. 1ben the dyed yarn is allowed to dry is shade and washed in pure non-chlorinated water at normal temperature and again dried. Then dying of yarn is taken to loom for weaving. Thus the process of dying medical value and this medicinal value improves the human health by curing the diseases. |
Full Text | The invention in general relates to the process and method of coloring cotton fabric or fabric using extractsof traditional herbs known for thier inherent medicinal value and weaving the dyes fabric yarn into a fabric. its characteristics to the desired value when it is dyed on to the dyed material and is considered as a single unit. The third object of the invention is to develop a process of dyeing the fabric or fabric yarns with only herbal extracts with simple conditions in the process seuqnece. 2. The cloth colored with herbal extract can cure many diseases . 3. Effects of improving human health because of medicinal value. 4. As a whole this herbal cloth is more hygienic and also eco-friendly. 1. The selected fabric or fabric yarn is sterilized in pre water at 100o C for about 3 hours without using any chemicals. 6. The dried clean fabric is taken to the loom for waving the fabric with desired medicinal value . Z CLAIM :- 1. A process for dyeing an undyed fabric or fabric yam comprising contacting the undyed fabric or fabric yam with a hernal dye solution wherein said herbal dye solution is one which is a mixture of one or more herbal extracts wherein contacting includes the following steps in sequence :- a. preparing said herbal dye solution; b. soaking the said undyed fabric or fabric yam into the said herbal dyeing solution; c. boiling the said herbal dye solution with the said soaked undyed fabric or fabric yam for 3 hours; d. drying the said dyed fabric or fabric yam after removal from said herbal dye solution in shade; e. washing the said dyed fabric or fabric yam in pure water. 2. A process for dyeing an undyed fabric or fabric yam comprising contacting the undyed fabric or fabric yarn with a herbal dye solution wherein preparing said herbal dye solution claimed in step 1(a), comprises of steps :- a. selecting the herb/herbs, b. slicing/cutting/grounding the herb/herbs to size. C. boiling at 100oC for 3 hours, d. extracting the decoction. 3. A process for dyeing an undyed fabric or fabric yam comprising contacting this undyed fiahric or fabric yam with a herbal dye solution as claimed in claim 1, wherein said herbal dye solution comprises a herb selected from the group generally known herbs like neenx, turmeric, basil, sandalwood, heima, pepper and/or combinations thereof.
