Abstract

Abstract ; A portable liquid container consisting of a flexible pillow type liquid containment means comprising a bag formed of flexible sheet material and provided with an aperture. A rigid sleeve is fired to the periphery of the aperture* A flexible outer pouch receives and holds the liquid contain. oent means therein* The outer pouch is made of flexible material and of double walled construction. A rigid neck element is disposed in an opening in the outer pouch and fitted thereto. The neck element comprises a fir3t portion* leading into the rigid sleeve and a second portion projecting out of the outer pouch© The rigid sleeve is secured to the first portion in a leak proof manner© A two-pAece stopper covers the second portion and is releasably fixed thereto in a is leakproof manner© Polyurethane- foam is disposed between the walls of the outer pouch and an aluminium foil is disposed in the outer pouch and fixed thereto© At least two cooling pads each comprising a satchel containing a freezing solution are removably located in pockets formed between the liquid containment means and aluminium foil through a slit formed in the outer pouch remote from the opening© The slit is provided with a zipper and runner combination©
