Title of Invention

"SCROLL FLUID MACHINE"

Abstract A scroll fluid machine comprising: a drive shaft 12 having an eccentric shaft portion 13 at one end; a stationary scroll 1 comprising a stationary end plate 4 having a stationary wrap 5; an orbiting scroll 7 comprising an orbiting end plate 8 having an orbiting wrap 9, said orbiting scroll 7 being supported around the eccentric shaft portion 13 of the drive shaft 12 to turn via a bearing 14; and a self-rotation preventing device 16 for preventing the orbiting scroll 7 from rotation around its own axis, the orbiting scroll 7 being eccentrically revolved with respect to the stationary scroll 1 while forming a sealed chamber between the stationary wrap 5 and the orbiting wrap 9, an oil-supply hole 30 being axially formed though the orbiting end plate 8 in front of the eccentric shaft portion 13 of the drive shaft 12 so that grease may be supplied from the oil supply hole 30 into the bearing 14 of the eccentric shaft portion 13, a grease nipple 31 being engagable in the oil-supply hole 30.

We Claim:
1. A scroll fluid machine comprising:
- a drive shaft 12 having an eccentric shaft portion 13 at one end;
- a stationary scroll 1 comprising a stationary end plate 4 having a stationary wrap 5;
- an orbiting scroll 7 comprising an orbiting end plate 8 having an orbiting wrap 9, said orbiting scroll 7 being supported around the eccentric shaft portion 13 of the drive shaft 12 to turn via a bearing 14; and
- a self-rotation preventing device 16 for preventing the orbiting scroll 7 from rotation around its own axis, the orbiting scroll 7 being eccentrically revolved with respect to the stationary scroll 1 while forming a sealed chamber between the stationary wrap 5 and the orbiting wrap 9, an oil-supply hole 30 being axially formed though the orbiting end plate 8 in front of the eccentric shaft portion 13 of the drive shaft 12 so that grease may be supplied from the oil supply hole 30 into the bearing 14 of the eccentric shaft portion 13, a grease nipple 31 being engagable in the oil-supply hole 30.

2. A scroll fluid machine as claimed in claim 1 wherein a bearing plate 11 is fixed to the orbiting scroll 7 behind the orbiting scroll 7, the oil-supply hole 30 being formed through the bearing plate 11.
3. A scroll fluid machine as claimed in claim 1 wherein a gap is radially formed toward the bearing 14 at a rear end of the oil supply hole 30 so that grease may be passed to the bearing 14.
4. A scroll fluid machine comprising:

- a drive shaft 12 having an eccentric shaft portion 13 at one end;
- a stationary scroll 1 comprising a stationary end plate 4 having a stationary wrap 5;
- an orbiting scroll 7 comprising an orbiting end plate 8 having an orbiting wrap 9, said orbiting scroll 7 being supported around the eccentric shaft portion 13 of the drive shaft 12 to turn via a bearing 14;
- a self-rotation preventing device 16 for preventing the orbiting scroll 7 from rotation around its own axis, the orbiting scroll 7 being eccentrically revolved with respect to the stationary scroll 1 while forming a sealed chamber between the stationary wrap 5 and the orbiting wrap 9; and

- a bearing plate 11 fixed to the orbiting scroll 7 behind the orbiting scroll 7, an oil-supply hole 34 being formed through the bearing plate 11 in front of the self-rotation preventing device 6, a grease nipple 35 being fitted in the oil-supply hole 34 so that grease may be supplied into a bearing 37 of the self-rotation preventing device 16 through the grease nipple 35.
