This invention relates to a light emitting unit and a light emitting as sembly, more particularly to a light emitting unit including a 1ight-mounting seat laving a part for clamping of a pair of leads of a Lightemittingdevice.
Figs. 1 and 2 illustrate a conventional light emitting assembly 1 for a lighting apparatus, such as a warning light. The conventional: light emitting assembly 1 includes a plurality of light emitting ievices 13 (only one is shown), each of which has a pair of leads 132 (only one is shown), a circuit board 12 formed with a plurality of lead-inserting holes 121 (only one is shown) for extension of the leads 132 of the light emitting devices 13 therethrough, respectively, and a reflective cover 11 mounted on the circuit board 12 and formed with a plurality of through-holes 111 (only one is shown) for extension of the light emitting devices 13, respectively.
When the light emitting assembly 1 is assembled, the light emitting devices 13 extend through the through-holes 111 of. the reflective cover 11, and the leads 132 of the light emitting devices 13 extend through the lead-inserting holes 121 of the circuit board 12 and are soldered to the circuit board 12. Since each of the light emitting devices 13 is merely
2

secured on the circuit board 12 through solder material bonded to the leads 132 thereof and the circuit board 12, the leads 132 of each of the light emitting devices 13 tend to separate from the solder material due to vibration, thereby resulting in disconnection of the light emitting devices 13 from the circuit board 12.
In addition, since the reflective cover 11 is relatively irregular in shape, assembly of the same with the light emitting devices 13 and the circuit board 12 is relatively difficult to corduct.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a light emitting unit that can overcome the aforesaid drawbacks associated with the prior art.
Another object of this invention is to provide a light emitting as sembly that can overcome the aforesaid drawbacks associated with.the prior art..
