TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Raw areca nut dehusking machine in its complete assembled condition is shown in figure. 1. It can be easily assembled and dismantled by the user as per the part details given in Figure 2 and assembled draw in Figure 1.
The part list, materials and size of each component is given in Figure 2.
Now referring to Figures 1,2,3,4,5,6 & 7 and to better understand the mechanisms of the preferred embodiment of the tool of this invention a step by step description of one complete cycle of the tools working parts, from insertion of a areca nut bunch separator tool, nut feeder, setting of the dehusker tool to next insertion is detailed.
Attention is now directed to Figure 3 which illustrates the raw areca nut bunch separator tool of this invention comprises, square shaped M.S. Sheet Metal box Bunch Separator containing Springs to hang the bunches 25, telescopic shock absorber 24, micro switch activator 27, operates for automatic closing of the bunch separator when knob presses, M.S.Metal shaft 30 with plastic coated rods 28 fixed inside the box which runs through 'V' shape belt, single slot pulley 31 which facilitates the separation ofthe areca nut from the bunch operation of the tool. The wire mesh 32 is adopted for further operation of the tool and connected to conveyor chain with conveyor buckets 21 which runs upwardly through worm gear box with motor 22.
Figure. 4. illustrates nut feeder box made out of 18 gauge MS. Sheet 20, is competed to the conveyor chain 12 by using nuts and bolts is extended at the one end of the wire mesh 32, fitted at the bottom of the MS. Sheet metal box bunch separator.
Two round shaped plastic coated Disks 1, as shown in the Figure 5, are set on adjacently on a shaft, connected at the one end of the nut feeder 20, which contains teeth like fine needles 2 on one half, having maximum of 200 needles set at an angle of 55 degrees and another half contains slots are fitted bolts and nuts 3 connected to vibrator and nut holder 11. this holder has rollers at the bottom and is knurled on the surface. This knurled surface slightly presses the nuts and the nuts get stuck to the needles of the disks.
Both side of the Disks I, 1, metal sheets are fixed to protect the disks when operation of the tool held. The double slot belt pulley 38 at the one end of the metal sheet, another double slot belt pulley 42 if fitted at the another end of the metal sheet, which operates

through motor - 1 HP single phase 1440 rpm , 250 V, 17 placed at the bottom of the said tool.
A nut cleaner unit 15, as shown in the Figure 6, comprises of blowers 16 is attached below the disks, which cleans the dehusked nuts.
The outlet chute 39, as illustrated in the Figure 7, is fitted to nut cleaner unit 15 at the one end and outlet for dehusking nuts 40 is connected at the another end of the nut cleaner unit which collect the dehusked nuts and completes the operation of the said tool
The timer arm 4 and timer cam 6 are provided for the operation of two disks.
All the items(from Fig.l to 7) can be easily assembled as shown in the assembly Figure 1.
