OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The principal object of the present invention is to propose a novel therapeutic composition capable of offering an effective treatment for Fever and to a method of preparation thereof.
Another object of the present invention is to propose a novel therapeutic composition capable of offering an effective treatment for Fever and to a method of preparation thereof prepared entirely from herbal and mineral commonly available drugs.
Still another object of the present invention is to propose a novel therapeutic composition capable of offering an effective treatment for Fever and to a method of preparation thereof which has no toxicity or untoward effect after prolonged administration in children and also in pregnant women.
STATEMENT OF INVENTION
According to this invention there is provided a novel herbal composition effective as anti pyretic comprising of Zeera sufaid (Cuminum cyminum L) in an amount of 95-125 mg, Dar-e-filfil (Piper longum L) in an amount of 95-125 mg, Maghz-e-karanjwa (Caesal pinia bonducella) in an amount of 95-125 mg, Barg-e-babool (Acacia arabica wild) in an amount of 95-130 mg and Kushta gardanti (Calx gypsum) in an amount of 50-70 mg.
Further according to this invention there is provided a process for preparation of a novel herbal composition effective as anti pyretic comprising steps of:- filtration of extract of zeera sufaid, Dar-e-filfil, Maghz-e-karanjwa and Barg-e-babool and evaporating all filtrates to the cone viscous mass, extraction of filtrate is carried out using purified water, addition of kushta gaudanti the diluent such as light kaolin in the range of 25-40% and preservative such as Sodium Benzoate in the range of 0.1-0.15% followed by drying in a fluid bed drier at 90°-105°C for 3-4 hrs.
Further according to this invention there is provided a process for preparation of A novel herbal composition cap. Mubark effective as anti pyretic comprising steps of :- filtration of extract of zeera sufaid, Dar-e-filfil, Maghz-e-karanjwa, and Barg-e-babool, - extraction of filtrate thus obtained, -addition of kushta gaudanti followed by drying.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
According to this invention there is provided a herbal preparation effective in various febrile conditions comprising:
Ingredients
1. Zeera sufaid (Cuminum cyminum L)
2. Dar-e-filfil (Piper longum L)
3. Maghz-e-karanjwa (Caesal pinia bonducella)
4. Narg-e-babool (Acacia arabica Wild)
5. Kushta gardanti (Calx gypsum)
Though not limited thereto, the composition or preparation comprises: Combination quality range of invention
1. Zeera sufaid (Cuminum cyminum L) 95.00-125.00 mg.

-8-
2. Dar-e-filfil (Piper longum L) 95.00-125.00 mg.

4. Barg-e-babool (Acacia arabica Wild) 95.00-130.00 mg.
5. Kushta gardanti (Calx gypsum) 50.00-70.00 mg.
To every 500 mg. of the preparation.
The process comprises in coarse powder of all the first four ingredients are provided and are subjected to hot extraction using vested purified water, filtered and the filtrate is separated and the residue so obtained is again subjected to hot extraction. The process is repeated to ensure complete extraction. All the filtrates are pooled together and evaporated to the cone viscous mass. Kushta gaudanti, diluent is for example. Light Kaolin in the range of 25 to 40% and preservative is for example Sod. Benzoate in the range of 0.1 to 0.15% are added to it. Finally dried in fluid bed drier at 90-105°C and for 3-4 hrs to get the dry granules which are further encapsulated in hard gelatin capsule.
