METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR THE MELT SPINNING AND TEXTURING OF A MULTIPLICITY OF MULTIFILAMENT THREADS

Abstract The invention relates to a method and a device for melt-spinning and texturing a plurality of threads, and to a method for controlling one such device. The plurality of spinning points is divided into a number of spinning stations and the plurality of texturing points is divided into a number of processing groups. According to the invention, a processing group that can be controlled independently of adjacent spinning stations and processing groups is associated with each spinning station.

Patent Claims
1. A method for the melt spinning and texturing of a multiplicity of multifilament threads by means of a multiplicity of spinning points and texturing points, the multiplicity of spinning points being divided into a pluraiity of spinning stations, in each case with a pluraiity of spinning points, and the multiplicity of texturing points being divided into a pluraiity of processing groups, in each case with a pluraiity of texturing pcints, characterized in that the threads spun by one of the spinning stations are supplied jointly to the texturing points of one . of the processing groups.
2. The method as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the threads are textured, drafted and wound into bobbins in parallel at the texturing points of the processing group independently of adj acent threads in adjacent processing groups.
3. The method as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the extrusion of the threads in one of the spinning stations and the f ollowing texturing of the threads in the processing group assigned to the spinning Station are monitored and controiied jointly.
4. The method as claimed in one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the threads in adjacent spinning Stations and processing groups are produced with identical process settings and process parameters.
5. The method as claimed in one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the threads in adjacent spinning stations and processing groups are produced with different process settings and process parameters.

6. An apparatus for carrying out the method as
claimed in one of Claims 1 to 5, with a spinning device

(1) which has a plurality of spinning stations (3.1, 3.2), in each case with a plurality of spinning points (4.1 ... 4.12) f or extruding the threads, and with a texturing device (2) which has a plurality of processing groups (5.1, 5.2), in each case with a plurality of texturing points (6.1 ... 6.12) for texturing the threads, characterized in that each of the processing groups (5.1, 5.2) of the texturing device {2) is assigned in each case one of the spinning stations (3.1, 3.2) of the spinning device (1).
7. The apparatus as claimed in claim 6, characterized in that the texturing points (6.1 ... 6.12) of one of the processing groups (5.1) can be driven and/or controlled independently of the texturing points of adjacent processing groups (5.2).

The apparatus as claimed in claim 6 or 7, characterized in that the spinning points (4.1 .... 4.12) of one of the spinning stations (3.1) and the processing group (5.1), assigned to the spinning Station (3.1), with its texturing points (6.1 ... 6.12) form a control section (7.1), and in that the control section (7.1) is assigned a field control device (11.1), by means of which the spinning Station (3.1) and processing group (5 . 1) which are assigned to the control section (7 . 1) can be controlled independently of adjacent spinning stations (3.2) and processing groups -5.2) .
9. The apparatus as claimed in claim 8, characterized in that the field control devices (11.1, 11.2) of the control sections (7.1, 7.2) are connected to a micro-processcr independently of one another for data display, data input and/or data change.

10. The apparatus as claimed in one of Claims 6 to 9,
characterized in that the spinning stations (3.1, 3.2)
of the spinning device (1) and the processing groups
(5.1, 5.2: of the texturing device (2) have a plurality
of process assemblies (9.1 ... 9.9} and a plurality of
process ::ntrol units (10.1 ... 10.9) assigned to the
process assemblies (9.1 ... 9.9), and in that the
process rontrol units (10.1 ... 10.9) of a control
section (7.1) are connected to the assigned field
control device (11.1) via a serial BUS System (12).
11. The apparatus as claimed in claim 10,
characterized in that the BUS System (12) is formed
from a plurality of data networks with different data
transmission rates.
12. The apparatus as claimed in claim 10 or 11, characterized in that the process assemblies (9.4) within the control section (7.1) are divided into assembly groups of identical function, and the process assemblies (9.4) of one of the assembly groups can be controlled jointly by a process control unit (10.4).
13. The apparatus as claimed in claim 12, characterized in that the process assemblies (9.3, 9.4) of one of the assembly groups can be driven by means of a group drive or by means of separate individual
drives.

16. A method for Controlling an apparatus for the melt spinning and texturing of a multiplicity of multi-filament threads by means of a multiplicity of spinning points and texturing points, the multiplicity of spinning points being divided into a plurality of spinning stations, in each case with a plurality of spinning points, and the multiplicity of texturing points being divided into a plurality of processing groups, in each case with a plurality of texturing points, characterized in that at least one spinning Station and one following processipg group form a control section, and in that the spinning points and texturing points of the control section are monitored and controlled independently of the spinning points and texturing points of the adjacent control sections.
17. The method as claimed in claim 16, characterized in that, at each texturing point of a control section, in each case a thread extruded by a spinning point is at least taken up, conveyed, textured, drafted and wound by means of a plurality of process steps, and in that all the process steps of the control section are monitored and influenced by a field control unit allocated to the control section.
18. The method as claimed in claim 17, characterized in that each process step of one of the texturing points is individually controlled independently of the adjacent process' steps of the texturing points.
19. The method as claimed in claim 17 or 18, characterized in that the process steps of one of the
texturing points are individually controlled independently of the process steps of the adjacent texturing points of the control section.

2 0. The methoci as claimed in claim 17 or 18, characterized in that the process steps of adjacent texturing points are controlled as a group independenrly of the respectively adjacent process steps of the texturing points of the control section.
21. The method as claimed in one of Claims 17 to 20, characterized in that the process steps of the texturing points of the section are controlled partly individually and partly as a group.
