Abstract An electrical switch (1) made from polycarbonate plastic material plastic components comprising moulded switch bottom with box type construction with two to three terminal contacts (2), (3) at the bottom; moulded terminal contact (4) for holding the terminal in place which is press fit into the box from the front side; wherein the base of the middle terminal (5) having an angular depression for the rocking motion of the rocker (6) a rocker pin (7) working in the angular groove actuated by a spring loaded plunger (8) guided in a inner knob (9) the said inner knob is covered by the outer knob (10) which are assembled from the front side; a outer flange (11) is provided on the outer knob for locking the assembly from the top by means of grooves and projection in a push fit manner.

3. PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION
The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed : -

ELECTRICAL SWITCHES WITHOUT METAL FASTENER
The invention relates to electrical switch more particularly electrical switch without any metal, screwing fastening means to avoid electrical shock. The switch comprising a polycarbonate mouldable parts assembled by push fit manner for electrical switching.
The conventional switches are assembled by means of iron fastner which are prone to electrical shock which may be fatal at time.
The primary object of this invention is to provide an electrical switch which is electrical shock proof.
Another object of this invention is to provide an electrical switch which can be produced/assembled by semi skilled level.
Still further object of this invention is to provide an electrical switch having higher production rate thereby reducing the cost of the product.
Accordingly there is provided an electrical switch (1) made from polycarbonate plastic material plastic components comprising moulded switch bottom with box type construction with two to three terminal contacts (2), (3) at the bottom; moulded terminal contact (4) for holding the terminal in place which is press fit into the box from the front side; wherein the base of the middle terminal (5) having an angular depression for the rocking motion of the rocker (6) a rocker pin (7) working in the angular groove actuated by a spring loaded plunger (8) guided in a inner knob (9) the said inner knob is covered by the outer knob (10) which are assembled from the front side; a outer flange (11) is provided on the outer knob for locking the assembly from the top by means of grooves and projection in a push fit manner.

The invention will now be described with reference to figures 1 to 3 in the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 is the plan view of the electrical switch.
Figure 2 is the blown up view of the assembly in the open condition.
Figure 3 is the sectional view of the electrical switch.
Referring to figures 1 to 3 an electrical switch (1) made from polycarbonate plastic material plastic components comprising moulded switch bottom with box type construction with two to three terminal contacts (2), (3) at the bottom; moulded terminal contact (4) for holding the terminal in place which is press fit into the box from the front side; wherein the base of the middle terminal (5) having an angular depression for the rocking motion of the rocker (6) a rocker pin (7) working in the angular groove actuated by a spring loaded plunger (8) guided in a inner knob (9) the said inner knob is covered by the outer knob (10) which are assembled from the front side; a outer flange (11) is provided on the outer knob for locking the assembly from the top by means of grooves and projection in a push fit manner.
The electrical switch are assembled by means of five moulded components from the top without any metal fastening and thereby prevents electrical shock. The rocker pin is made of five moulded pieces are assembled in a push fit manner without any metal screwing. The rocker is made from phosphorus bronze with a by-metal contact for reducing the carbon deposition and sparkling thereby improving the life spend of the switch.
The electrical switches made from polycarbonate plastic moulded components which are being assembled in a push-fit manner without any metal screwing. This is to provide an electrical switch which are electrical shockproof. This switches are made from a bottom with a box type construction with 2 to 3 terminal contacts at the bottom; moulded terminal contacts (4) for holding the terminal in place. There is no metal screwing. The rocking motion is provided by the rocker, a rocker pin working

in the angular grooves actuated by a spring loaded plunger. The motion up and down is translated in the knob which is covered by the outer knob and is locked by the outer flange (11) by means of groove and projection.
This is an embodiment of the invention several modification are possible which may be considered within the ambit and spirit of this invention.

WE CLAIM:
1) An electrical switch (1) made from polycarbonate plastic material plastic components comprising moulded switch bottom with box type construction with two to three terminal contacts (2), (3) at the bottom; moulded terminal contact (4) for holding the terminal in place which is press fit into the box from the front side; wherein the base of the middle terminal (5) having an angular depression for the rocking motion of the rocker (6) a rocker pin (7) working in the angular groove actuated by a spring loaded plunger (8) guided in a inner knob (9) the said inner knob is covered by the outer knob (10) which are assembled from the front side; a outer flange (11) is provided on the outer knob for locking the assembly from the top by means of grooves and projection in a push fit manner.
2) An electrical switch as claimed in claim 1, wherein five moulded pieces are assembled in a push fit manner without any metal screwing.
3) An electrical switch as claimed in claim 1, wherein the rocker is made from phosphorus bronze with a by-metal contact for reducing the carbon deposition and sparkling thereby improving the life spend of the switch.
4) An electrical switch as claimed in claim 1, and herein described with reference to the figures in the accompanying drawings.
