Full Text FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention relates to a device for installation of R.C.C tube-well pipes on a hard clay surface.
BACKGROUND
The R.C.C (Reinforced Cement Concrete) tube-well pipe lowerer unit for hard clay surface cavity is very useful for installation of R.C.C pipe tube-wells where the cavity is to be made on hard clay surface.
The tube-well pipes used for the purpose of boring were made of G.I. pipes and P.V.C. pipes. The G.I. pipes and P.V.C. pipes were very costly and were not durable for longer time as there were problems like rusting of G.I. pipes and shrinkage of P.V.C. pipes. People in the trade of boring and more particularly, the farmers have discarded the above mentioned types of G.I. pipes and P.V.C. pipes due their faults and high cost. They are now using R.C.C pipes for tube-wells.
However, till date the G.I., P.V.C. tube-well pipes were used only in tube-well filter and only a base plate was used in these tube-well pipes. A base was fitted at the lower end of the filter and then it was lowered in the tube-well bore. It was not possible to make a tube-well cavity by this base plate. This was due to the fact that the lower end of the pipe gets completely closed by the base plate and also at some places inside the earth; there are no longer sandy layers which are necessary for smooth functioning of a tube-well. Hence, it becomes difficult to set the tube-well cavities and tube-well filter cavities for R.C.C. pipes on a hard clay surface.
To overcome the above-mentioned drawback, the present invention is used for setting the R.C.C. pipes in the tube-well borings in the tube-well cavity or tube-well filter cavity.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
R.C.C. tube-well pipe lowerer unit for hard clay surface is a mechanical device made of M.S. steel pipe which is folded by a reverse thread nut. The M.S. steel pipe has three levers and at the end of each lever there are three pickers, the upper portion of which is known as head. The pickers hold up the cavity base pipe with the help of a small piece of G.I. pipe. A short cord is tied with the cavity pipe base by the help of nuts.
There is one lever holder and two stoppers in upper and lower side of lever holder and the above-mentioned levers are in a hanging position with the lever holder and which are connected to the reverse thread nut by the help of six strips and bolts. The outer portion of the lowerer has reverse threads till the
lower end so as to help in re-folding to allow for the lowering of the pipe onto the base.
The lowerer is claimed on the base in the already granted application No. 2338/DEL/2004.
The R.C.C tube-well pipe lower unit is connected to the tube-well drill pipe. The lever holder of the R.C.C. tube-well pipe lowerer is held up by the help of two stoppers so that it rotates around the same place and the three pickers get stuck in the base of the cavity pipe. The pickers can be closed and expanded by the help of reverse thread nut lever strips. The expanded pickers hold the base properly after inserting in the pits of the base of the cavity as shown in Fig 1.
According to the depth of the tube-well bore, the R.C.C. tube-well pipes are lowered in the bore with the help of tube-well drill pipes and the pressure of water that is given by the tube-well boring machine. A piece of G.I. pipe measuring approximately 2-3 feet is connected with the lower end of the lowerer and is inserted in the hold of the hard surface cavity with the help of the pressure of the water. Such an action of the G.I. pipe clears the lower end of the pipe at the base plate and then the cavity base is set by 2-3 upward-downward motions of the drilling pipe till the base of cavity pipe is set properly and tightly in the hard clay surface. The drilling pipe is tightened to release the R.C.C tube-well pipe cavity base for hard clay surface. When the drilling pipe is tightened, the reverse thread nut of the R.C.C. pipe lowerer moves downwards and due to the motion of the levers, the pickers get released from the pits of the base cavity and the cord which is tied to the tube-well cavity pipe base holds the levers till they are completely closed. The pipes are again tightened till the cord breaks and the R.C.C pipe lowerer is pulled out with the help of drilling pipe and the drilling machine.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
This invention relates to a device for installation of R.C.C. tube-well pipes on a hard clay surface, said device comprising a M. S. steel pipe (01) having a cavity base pipe characterized in that the M.S. steel pipe (01) having a reverse thread nut at the lower portion (02) for re-folding to allow for the lowering of the pipe onto the base, said pipe having at least two levers (03), each lever fixed to the pipe by a lever holder (04) and two stoppers (05 & 06), said levers being connected to the reverse thread nut by six strips and bolts, and having at least one picker (07) to hold the cavity base pipe with the G.I. pipe.

Fig 1 depicts the cross-sectional view of the device used for installing the R.C.C. tube-well pipes for hard clay surface.
The device used for installing the R.C.C. tube-well pipes for hard clay surface is connected to the tube-well drill pipe and is mounted on the tube-well cavity base for hard surface. The assembly of the pipes is then lowered in the bore of the tube-well as shown in figure 2. Each R.C.C pipe is then connected to the tube-well R.C.C. pipe mounted on the base with the help of a rubber ring as shown in Fig. 2
When the drill pipes are tightened due to the reverse thread nut at the lower end of the device, it sets the tube-well cavity as shown in Fig. 2 by releasing the pickers of the levers and expanding them to finally adjust the setting of the cavity.







claim:
1. A device for installation of R.C.C. tube-well pipes on a hard clay surface,
said device comprising a M. S. steel pipe (01) having a cavity base pipe ,
characterized in that the M.S. steel pipe (01) having a reverse thread nut at the lower portion (02) for re-folding to allow for the lowering of the pipe onto the base,
said pipe having at least two levers (03), each lever fixed to the pipe by a lever holder (04) and two stoppers (05 & 06), said levers being connected to the reverse thread nut by six strips and bolts,
and having at least one picker (07) to hold the cavity base pipe with the G.I. pipe.
2. A device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the levers of the M.S. steel pipe are in a hanging position with respect to the lever holder.
3. A device for installation of R.C.C. tube-well pipes on a hard clay surface substantially as herein described with reference to and as illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
