BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
In recent years efforts have been made for construction of vending machine to serve the purpose but as these machine comprises of electrical and electronic equipments. These electric and electronic based vending machine are disclosed in US pat no. 4,380,130 to batchman, US pat no 4,414,768 also to batchman, US pat no 4,454,670 to batchman and US pat no. 4,682,709. However, they need much care and they become inactive when there is a power break down.
To overcome the above-mentioned demerit, the present invention relates to a vending machine which does not need any electric power, any staff and any other electrical or electronic attachment.
OBJECT AND SUMMERY OF THE INVENTION:
The primary object of this invention is to provide a coin operated vending machine directly adoptable to the outlet of a reservoir to discharge the predetermined quantity of fluid with the help of a coin.
The another object of the present invention is to provide a low cost coin operated vending machine which need less space and little care.
The further object of the present invention is to provide a vending machine which is totally mechanical and operated manually to fulfill the work of vending by just inserting a coin and thus simplifying its operation without add of power.
The further object of the present invention is to provide a coin operated vending machine for dispensing liquid comprising:
- at least one pushing rod (15,9);
- a pushing button (8) connected to said pushing rod (9);
- a reservoir (23);
- a metering pot (25) having a float valve assembly (19) and a discharge valve (23, 24) underneath;
characterized in that
- a lever (10) connected to said pushing rods (15, 9) for dispensing fluid;
- a pipe (2) having a linear slot (26) and at least one perpendicular coin slot (27, 28, 29);
- a controlling means (4) for controlling the movement of said linear slot (26);

- a non-returned valve (20) is mounted on the outlet of the reservoir for collecting the liquid at the metering pot by the float valve assembly;
- said lever (10) pushes a pushing means (12) to open the mouth of the non-return valve and fills the metering pot with a predetermined quantity of liquid in the event of said vending machine is at rest;
- said pushing means (12) closes the non returned valve and opens the mouth of the discharge valve by a link rod (11) and a chain (22) in the
event of a user pushes the pushing rods (15, 9) of said vending machine; and - said float valve to meter the predetermined volume of the liquid.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS:
The objects of the present invention and the attendant advantages thereof will become more readily apparent by reference to the drawings.
Figure 1 is an assembly drawing of the part of the coin operated vending machine.
Figure 2 is an assembly of the different parts of the coin-operated vending machine.
Figure 3 is a sectional view of assembly of the different parts of the vending machine.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:
Figure 1 is an assembly drawing of the part of the coin operated vending machine which shows the movement of a coin and the pushing stage of the lever of the vending machine of present invention;
The vending machine having a push button (8) for pressing by user. (1) & (5) are pipe plugs with a hole for allowing the movement of push rods (15) & (9) respectively. (2) is a pipe having one linear slot (26) and three perpendicular coin slot (27), (28) & (29). (4) is a pipe or controlling means on which there is screw (3) which moves in the slot (26) and controls its
inovement upto coin slot (28). Slot (27) is coin inserting slot. Slot (29) allows 50 paisa coin to slide down, and slot (28) allows Re 1 coin to collect in the box underneath. (13) & (7) are compression springs which ensures the reciprocal movement of the rods (15) & (9) respectively. Part (6) is a cap for holding the compression spring (7). (4) is a pipe which rest on the push rod (15).
A non-return valve attached to a metering pot and mounted on the outlet of a reservoir, the metering pot consisting of a float valve and a discharge valve underneath, the non-return valve normally being open allowing the liquid collected in the metering pot, the float valve so adjusted to meter the predetermined volume of liquid in the metering pot. A push rod with the help of a lever closes the mouth of non- return valve and opens the discharge valve to dispense the predetermined volume of the liquid simultaneously. The operation of the non-return valve is made with the help of a coin and a push rod.
Figure 2 is an assembly of reservoir, non-return valve, float valve, T, metering pot, discharge valve and the lever of the vending machine of the present invention;
Figure 3 is a sectional view of assembly of the different parts of the vending machine metering pot and float valve and the manner by which lever operates the discharge valve of the vending machine of the present invention.
The machine comprising a spring load lever (10), which pushes the rod (12) in normal position to open the mouth of the non-return valve (20). When pushing is done by the rod (15) it lets the non-return valve closed and open the mouth of the discharge valve with the help of a link rod (11) and chain (22). (18) is a T or adjusting means, (19) is a float valve which is adjustable according to need to meter the predetermined volume of the liquid, (20) is a non-return valve, (21) is the reservoir, (22) is the chain, (23) & (24) consist of discharge valve which dispense the metered amount of liquid collected in the metering pot (25). (16) is a compression spring which loaded the lever and (17) is a tie- rod which helps the movement of lever in proper direction. Figure 1, 2 & 3 shows the construction and assembly of the vending machine of the present invention.
