| Abstract | The invention relates to a fixed carriageway having at least one monoblock sleeper 4 having a dowel block 7 inserted in a recess on the underside of the sleeper, whic~ block engages by projecting below the sleeper into a recessed pocket 10 of the carriageway, the at least one monoblock sleeper 4 being formed as a wide sleeper, which forms only a small gap with the adjacent sleeper permitting a radial or curved laying of track and which is provided with lateral narrowings 11, 12 in the region of the dowel block 7 on the underside for subsequent filling of the recessed pocket 10, the sleeper being provided on the underside with a through recess 13 of low height passing through the width of the sleeper in the region of the lateral narrowings 11, 12, characterised in that the fixed carriageway has an asphalt support and in that the length of the recessed pocket 10 transverse to the sleeper is smaller than the normal sleeper width. |
