ACCELERATOR CONTROL KIT AS AN ALTERNATE DEVICE FOR CARBURETOR IN AN AUTOMOBILE

Abstract

This Invention pertains to an 'ACCELERATOR C(~)NTROL KIT' with the intention ol~ providing an alternate device to replace the repair-prone carburetors in the automobiles. Further, this device prevents the flow of dust into the system. It comprises of an open ended cylindrical ca.~ing housing all the components of the accelerator mechanism. One of its ends is connected to an air-filter, throllgh which air is sucked in. A piston regulates the flow of the fuel and is actuated by an accelerator spring. An accelerator sleeve connects the accelerator cable corn ing from accelerator to the piston. ..1\ piston lock is provided to arrest the rotation of the piston along the horizontal axis. Fuel and air is let into the accelerator control kit through a hose connection. An engine fitting end is directly connected the engine cylinder. An Idling Screw is provided to ensure minimum flo\\' offuel to the engine.
