FEEDING HOPPER ASSEMBLY-SUITABLE FOR FEEDING RESINS IN SPECIFIC GRAVITY SEPARATOR MACHINE

Abstract FEEDING HOPPEP ASSEMBLY - SUITABLE FOR FEEDING RESINS IN SPECIFIC GRAVITY SEPARATOR MACHINE Specific gravity separation is one of the principles for the sorting various commodities. This type of sorting method is generally used for food grains. There is much specific gravity separators available in the market, but as food grains arc free flowing, arrangement of the hopper or feeding arrangement for such machine is according to free flowing food grain and which is not suitable for sticky material like resins. The traditional method used for the resins is manual. It takes much time and energy. So to overcome this problem, this invented special feeding hopper is suitable for feeding resins in such specific gravity separator. With the invented development of this type of hopper, resins can be feed in to machine without sticking or jamming. This type of hopper is very easy to load without spillage of resins, also minimize efforts of labour for loading and give maximum degree of efficiency of separation. A feeding hopper assembly suitable for feeding resins in specific gravity separator machine consists of hopper assembly. The vibrating hopper assembly feeds material continuously and unifoinly to the machine. There are two supports given to the hopper, support located at discharge end is a holding bracket and another located at backside is a rear support convey vibrations to hopper. Slot to the rear support is made for adjusting the slope of the hopper. The fee^ control plate located at discharge end of the hopper to control the flow of the resins. Flow can be adjusted by moving feed control plate up and down. A provision of slots is made on feed control plate to move the plate up and down. (KAMALAKAR VENKANTRAO NALAVADE)

Specific gravity separation is one of the principles for the sorting various commodities. This type of sorting method is generally used for food grains.
There is much specific gravity separator available in the market, but as food grains are free flowing, arrangement of the hopper or feeding arrangement for such machine is according to free flowing food grain and which is not suitable for sticky material like resins. The traditional method used for the resins is manual. It takes much time and energy.
In the Patent US 6631799 and the present Patent application there is difference in construction.
In the Patent US 6631799 there are three parts (a) Hopper, (b) Tray, (c) Vibrator; whereas in the present Patent application there is only the Tray which is called the Feeding Hopper Assembly. In the Patent US 6631799 there is the Hopper, which is disposed above the Tray, and the Vibrator is mounted to the Tray; whereas in the present Patent application there is no separate vibrator used to vibrate the Feeding Hopper Assembly. In the Patent US 6631799 there are V groove and step; whereas in the present Patent application, these V groove and step are not present. In the Patent US 6631799 there is Singulation of components; whereas in the present Patent application, the Feeding Hopper Assembly gives the continuos flow of resins. In the Patent US 6631799 there is no provision for sticking and jamming components (commodities); whereas in the present Patent application, the Feeding Hopper Assembly is made only for the sticking and jamming commodities: resins.
The object of the invention is to reduce the wastage and to minimize efforts of labour, and give maximum degree of efficiency of separation of resins. This invented special feeding hopper assembly is suitable for feeding resins in such specific gravity separator. With the invented development of this type of hopper, resins can be feed in to machine without sticking or jamming. This type of hopper assembly is very easy to load without spillage of resins, also minimize efforts of labour for loading and give maximum degree of efficiency of separation. This is eco friendly.
It is also the object of the invention to have a feeding hopper assembly suitable for feeding resins in specific gravity separator machine, which is very simple in construction and easy for operation.

Summary of the Invention:-
This Invention relates to a feeding hopper assembly suitable for feeding resins in specific gravity separator machine consist of holding bracket (1) for hopper, the rear support (2), reinforcement plate (3), feed control plate (4) wherein comprising
2a
a) the holding bracket (1) for hopper, fastening to supporting lower deck of the machine and hopper by using standard nut bolts;
b) the rear support (2) is used to hold hopper with vibrating deck, connected by using standard nut bolts; consists the slot made for the adjusting the slope of the hopper;
c) reinforcement plate (3) welded to hopper base to avoid slacking of the hopper base and used to stiffen hopper base;
d) feed control plate (4) located at discharge end of the hopper for the flow; adjusts the flow by moving up and down by the provision of slots.

Thus according to this invention a feeding hopper assembly suitable for feeding resins in specific gravity separator machine consists of hopper assembly. The vibrating hopper assembly feeds material continuously and uniformly to the machine. There are two supports given to the hopper, support located at discharge end is a holding bracket and another located at backside is a rear support convey vibrations to hopper. Slot to the rear support is made for adjusting the slope of the hopper. The reinforcement plate is used to stiffen hopper base. The feed control plate located at discharge end of the hopper for the flow. Flow can be adjusted by moving feed control plate up and down. A provision of slots is made on feed control plate to move the plate up and down.
Now the invention will be clearer describe with reference to Figs. 1 to 6 of accompanying drawings wherein Fig. 1 shows the complete assembly of the hopper. Fig. 2 shows the rear support to hold hopper with vibrating deck, connected by using standard nut bolts. Fig. 3 shows reinforcement plate welded to hopper base to avoid slacking of the hopper base. Fig. 4 shows the feed control plate at front portion of the hopper with help of the standard nut bolts. Fig. 5 shows holding bracket for hopper. Holding bracket is fastening to supporting lower deck and hopper by using standard nut bolts. Fig.6 shows the isometric view of the hopper.
Working of the assembly is very simple. Referring to Fig. 1 there is the complete assembly of the hopper. There is the holding bracket (i) for hopper. Holding bracket is fastening to supporting lower deck of the machine and hopper by using standard nut bolts. The rear support (2) is used to hold hopper with vibrating deck, connected by using standard nut bolts. Reinforcement plate (3) welded to hopper base to avoid slacking of the hopper base. The feed control plate (4) located at discharge end of the hopper for the continuos flow of resins. Flow can be adjusted by moving feed control plate up and down. A provision of slots is made on feed control plate to move the plate up and down.
The rear support (2) shown in Fig.2. The slot to the rear support is made for adjusting the slope of the hopper. The rear support (2) is for holding the hopper with vibrating deck, connected by using standard nut bolts, located at backside.
The reinforcement plate (3) shown in Fig. 3 is used to stiffen hopper base. The plate is welded to hopper to avoid slacking of the hopper base.
The feed control plate (4) shown in Fig. 4 fitted at the front portion of the hopper with help of standard nut bolts. The feed control plate is located at
3

discharge end of the hopper for the flow. Flow can be adjusted by moving feed control plate up and down. A provision of slots is made on feed control plate to move the plate up and down.
Fig,5 shows holding bracket (1) for hopper. Holding bracket is located at discharge end, fastening to supporting lower deck and hopper by using standard nut bolts.
The feeding hopper assembly as shown in Fig. 6 feeds material continuously and uniformly to the machine.
Thus working of the hopper assembly is wery simple. The hopper is useful for feeding resins. Resins can be feed in to machine without sticking or jamming with the help of hopper. The hopper assembly is very easy to load manually without spillage of resins, also minimize efforts of labour for loading and give maximum degree of efficiency of separation.
Advantages of this assembly: -
Resins can be feed in to machine without sticking or jamming.
Easy to load without spillage of resins.
Minimize efforts of labour for loading.
Give maximum degree of efficiency of separation.
Useful to any specific gravity separator available in market.
Application: -
1) Useful for resins producing farmers.
2) Useful for Co- Operative societies concern with resins and resins processing.
3) Useful for cold storages concern with resins.
