| Abstract | TITLE: METHOD FOR CONTROLLING/REGULATING AN EMBOSSING PROCEDURE AND DRIVE AND CONTROL DEVICE FOR INJECTION MOULDING MACHINE. Method for controlling/regulating and embossing procedure for producing precision parts, particularly flat optical data carriers, with an injection moulding machine with two mould halves, a driven mould half and a counter-mould half, whereby the driven mould half is moved by means of an electro-mechanical or hydraulic embossing drive and the force adhesion betweent he driven mould half and the counter-mould half during the basic setting and the entire injection cycle by means of bonding agents of the injection moulding machine,which expand in the function of the embossing force process and correspondingly influence the slot mass between the driven mould half and the counter-mould half, characterized in that the controlling/regulating during the embossing process takes place by circumventing a continuous measurement of the slot mass between both mould halves, on the basis of the path function of the driven mould half in a programme- controlled-regulated manner. |
