| Abstract | This invention relates to an alternative reciprocating water pumping device. The device has a hollow cylindrical body having lower, middle and upper compartments provided therein. A sliding tube is disposed in the upper compartment of the body such that to be moved up and down by means of a foot pedal connected thereto through a rope. A connecting rod secured to a bottom end of the sliding tube is provided within the body passing through all the stoppers provided within the body in order to constitute the compartments. Sliding valves are provided centrally with the stoppers. A delivery pipe is provided with the upper compartment for delivering water. |
