The following specification particularly describes and ascertains the nature of this invention and the manner in which it is to be performed :-

TECHNICAL FIELD:
This invention relates io-a flow tx)ntroller for controlling the outletflow of a fluid, more particularly this invention relates to a mechanical flow controller for controlling the outlet flow of a fluid.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION :
When fluid flow§ is requjred to be distributed in different pipelines, the flow becomes uncertain in different lines. At that time it is required to maintain the flow at desired level. The flow controller does this function of controlling the flow of fluid.
Conventionally available fkW controller are being eperateict manually.
OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION :
The objective of the present invention is to provide a mechanical flow controller which maintains thedesired flow automatically.
Another objective of the invention is to provide a mechanical flow controller to prevent theft of fluid.
Yet another objective of the invention is to provide a mechanical flow controller wiui double gates to prevent wastage of fluid.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION :
A flow controller for controlling the outlet flow pressure of a fluid comprising a pipe separated into two chambers, one being the inlet chamber and the other being the outlet chamber, a device chamber in fluid communication with the said outlet chamber, a flexible hose biased with the tension mechanism being contained in the said device chamber, a plate being provided at the partition of the chamber thus forming a openable gate and the said plate being connected to the said flexible hose by means of a rod such that when the pressure drops in the outlet chamber the flexible hose moves down and so the plate and the gate opens.

The tension mechanism consists of either spring or elasjic band.
In another embodiment there is a second gate implemented in the pipe where in the gate closes when, the pressure drops oecur in the chamber.
In another embodiment there is a horizontally moving plate in combination with the separation between the inlet and outlet chambers, the said plate being connected to the tension mechanism contained in |he device chamber. The gate closes when the speed of flow increases and opens when the s'peed decreases.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTlOKlS :
With reference to figure 1 There is a flow controller (6) for controlling the outlet flow pressure of a fluid. This comprises a pipe separated into two chambers, one being the inlet chamber (7) and the other being the outlet chamber (8).There is a device chamber (4) in fluid communication with the Said outlet chamber. A flexible hose (5) biased with the tension mechanism .(3) is contained in the said device chamber (4). A plate (i) being provided : at the partition of the chamber thus forming a openable gate (9) and the said plate being connected to the said flexible hose by means of a rod (2) such that whenthe pressure drops in the outlet chamber/the flexible(hose (5) moves down and so the plate (1) and the gate opens. Where pressure increased in outlet chamber the flexible hose (5) moves up and so the plate (1) and the gate close. The tension mechanism consists of either spring or elastic band.
With reference to figure 2. There is a second gate (10) implemented in
the pipe where the gate closes when the pressure drops occur in the
chamber. /

With reference to figure ;3. There is a second gate (10) implemented, where horizontally moving plate, in combination with the separation between the inlet cjiamber and;ioutlet chambers, the said plat being connected to the -tension mechanism contained in the device chamber. The gate closes when the speed of flow increases ancropens when the speed decreases.
WORKING OF THE INVENTIONS :
The working of the flow controller can be better understood with the following situation. When the water tank is on the top floor of the apartment and delivery lines are there to all the flats. Pressure in the line increases or decreases depending upon the headTo control required flow controller is provided in each line. When cock of outlet side is opened pressure within the outlet chamber goes down little and the gate opens slightly. When the second cock is opened the pressure will go further down and the gate will open further. Similarly when the third cock is opened the pressure will further reduce and the gate will be opened further. This way one by one cocks will be opened, gate will be opened more and more. When a cock is closed gate will be closed a little. Similarly when we close cocks one by one the gate closes accordingly. In another situation when water is distributed in sub lines from the mainline, flow controller controls the flow in sub mains up to" the end of distributary line. When water is pumped then in thisJine vacuum; is created and more water flow goes out. To prevent more water flow going out, a double gate flow controller can be provided. In this controller the second gate is closed dueto the vacuum created.
While the invention has been described with reference to the preferred embodiments, those skilled in the art will understand it that various changes may be made and equivalents may be substituted for elements thereof without departing from the scope of the invention . in addition, many modifications may be made to adopt the particulars situation without departing from the essential scope thereof. Therefore, it is intended that the invention not be limited to the particular embodiment disclosed as the best mode contemplated or carrying out this invention, but that the invention will include all the embodiments falling within the scope of the appended claims.

We Claim :
1. A flow controller for controlling the outlet flow of a fluid comprising a pipe separated into two chambers, one being the inlet chamber and the other being the outlet chamber, a device chamber in fluid communication with the said outlet chamber, a flexible hose biased with the tension mechanism being contained in the said device chamber, a plate being provided at the partition of the chamber thus forming a openable gate and the said plate being connected to the said flexible hose by means of a rod such that when the pressure drops in the outlet chamber the flexible hose moves down and so the plate and the gate opens.
2. A flow controller for controlling the outlet flow of a fluid as claimed in claim 1 wnerefe the tension mechanism consists of spring.
3. A flow controller for controlling the outlet flow of a fluid as claimed in claim 1 where in the tension mechanism consists of elastic band.
4. A flow controller for controlling the outlet flow of a fluid as claimed in claim 1 optionally having a second gate which is adapted to close when the pressure in the pipe drops.
5. A flow controller for controlling the outlet flow of a fluid as claimed in claim 1 optionally heaving a second gate formed by a horizontally moving plate in combination with the separation between the inlet and outlet chambers. The said plate regulates the gate according to speed of fluid and alow on stop fluid to pass through gate, the said plate being connected to the tension mechanism contained in the device chamber.
6. A flow controller for controlling the outlet flow of a fluid substantially described as herein with reference to the figures 1,2,3, of accompanying drawings.
