Title: - An Eclipta Alba herbal composition for treatment of hyper lipidemia and hyper cholesterolemia treatment,
Field: -
There are great many indigenous drugs of extreme utility but little known to students western medicine, in numerous case where allopathic treatment falls, indigenous system of medicine succeeds.

Back Ground: -
In India with change in life expectancy and life styles the incidence of hyperlipidemia and hypercholesterolermia has increased steadily and indirectly, plays an important role in the development of hyperlipidemia , it has been related to high incidence of cardiovascular diseases (CVD ) .So today hyperlipidemia induced atherosclerosis is important health problem , the rising standard of living with an ever increasing problems of hyperlipidemia have been great stululus for the discovery of new agent.Though many drugs such as statin, bile acid sequestrants clofibrates etc, cause inner damages long term administration,
No similar containing eclipta alba is available or reported, hence herb eclipata alba was extracted for their anti hyper chiolesterolemia effect, in this era of molecular thinking, the biological value of a drug and evidence for the total absence of undesirable side effect and /or toxixities plays an important role.
There are the great many indigenous drugs of extreme utility but little known to
students of western medicine. In numerous cases where allopathic treatment falls,
indegenious system of medication succeeds .
Hence a herb eclipta alba was screnned for their antihypercholestronic effect, in this era of molecular thinking, the biological value of drugs and evidence for the total absence of nderinable side effects and for toxicities plays an important role, Eclipta Alba is commonly call as Eclipta bringrej and false daisy .
Description: -
The present invention relates to an Eclipta alba extractant containg herbal composition for treatment of coronary vascular diseases hyperlipidemia and hyper cholesterolemia comprising an extract of Eclipta alba from the raw material of pieces, dried in shade for more than 4 days, and grinded to to make fine powder. The powder dried material was taken for extraction mixed with methanol or hot percolation method for a period of more than three days .The solvent was removed by distillation oyer boiling water bath at

atmospheric pressure and remaining under reduced pressure in a boiling water bath and finely dried in vacuum desiccators. The resultant alcoholic Eclipta Alba shall be used for the preparation of herbal composition for the treatment of coronary vascular diseases. The composition comprising Eclipta alba alcoholic extract ant in the range of 1 mg/kg to 2 gm/kg , and Terminalia arjina in the range of 10 mg /kg to 25 mg /kg was initially suspended in water and added to a composition commiphora mukul was extracted with 95% alcohol subsequently filtered and distilled under reduce pressure to obtain alcohol free extract was added to the composition in the range of 10 mg /kg to 20 mg /kg further emblica officinalis fresh fruit was obtained and the juice was taken out initially analyzed for Vitamin -C approximately 100 gm content was added to the above composition in the range of 5 mg /kg to 15 mg/kg further embodiment of the present invention is Azadiracta Indica its alcoholic extract of 5 mg /kg was added to the composition.
Example;-
Taken 1.5 mg /kg of alcoholic extractant of Eclipta alba was mixed with 20 mg of Terminalia arjina in mixer further 15 mg of Commiphora mukul was taken and added to the above composition. 10 mg of Emblica officinalis added along with 10 mg of Azadiracta Indica to make a herbal composition, which could ready for CVD,s treatment.

I Claim,
An Eclipta alba alcoholic extractant containing herbal cdmposition for treatment of Cardio vascular disease, comprising an eclipta alba aloholic extract in the range of 1 mg to 2 mg , and water suspended terminalia arjina in the range of 10 mg to 25 mg, Commiphora mukul 10 mg to 20 mg and emblica officinals juice taken in the range of 5 mg to 15 mg, and Azadiracta Indica 10 mg is added to the composotion under constant stirring,
An Eclipta alba alcoholic extractant containing herbal composition, such as here in described with reference to an example.
