Title of Invention

AN APPARATUS IN A TEXTILE SPIN DRAW WINDING MACHINE

Abstract The invention concerns an arrangement of inlet elements in a spin draw winding machine in which filament bundles (5, 6) guided parallel are deflected by a roll each and are taken off therefrom in which arrangement further rolls can be provided upstream from the transfer point of the filament bundles to a draw roll (4). In this arrangement, the difference between the wrapping angles of each filament bundle on the roll, or on the rolls respectively, is not to exceed 50% of the smaller wrapping angle for either of the filament bundles. Furthermore, it proves advantageous if the sum of all wrapping angles for each filament bundle is about 120 degrees or more.

(R'R NAIR) Of DePENNING & DePENNING AGENT FOR THE APPLICANTS

1. Arrangement of inlet elements of a spin draw winder for simultaneously
drawing two bundles of fibrils comprising at least one roll for taking over the
bundles of fibrils and subsequently arranged draw rolls,
characterized in that
the bundles of fibrils extending parallel are taken off by means of deflection using a roll and if necessary are deflected by further rolls, and subsequently are transferred to a draw roll, in which arrangement the difference between the total wrapping angle of each bundle of fibrils on the roll, or rolls, is not to exceed 50% of the smaller of the total wrapping angles.
2. Arrangement of inlet elements according to the claim 1, characterized in that the sum of the deflection angles of each bundle of fibrils on the rolls (1, 2, 3, 13) substantially is 120° or more.
3. Arrangement of inlet elements according to the claim 1, characterized in that the sum of the deflection angles of each bundle of fibrils on the rolls (1, 2, 3, 13, 14) substantially is equal to the other one.
4. Arrangement of inlet elements according to the claim 1, characterized in that the rolls (1, 2, 3, 4) taking up the bundles of fibrils are arranged essentially parallel side by side extending in horizontal direction.
5. Arrangement of inlet elements according to the claim 4, characterized in that also further rolls (3, 14) are arranged essentially side by side extending in horizontal direction.
6. Arrangement of inlet elements according to the claim 1, characterized in that the rolls depending on the variant embodiment considered are provided in the form of double rolls.

7. Arrangement of inlet elements of a spin draw winder, substantially as herein described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

Summary
The invention concerns an arrangement of inlet elements in a spin draw winding machine in which filament bundles (5, 6) guided parallel are deflected by a roll each and are taken off therefrom in which arrangement further rolls can be provided upstream from the transfer point of the filament bundles to a draw roll (4).
In this arrangement the difference of the wrapping angles on the roll, or on the rolls respectively, among the filament bundles is not to exceed 50% of the smaller wrapping angle.
Furthermore it proves advantageous if the sum of all wrapping angles for each filament bundle is chosen substantially as 120 angle degrees or more.
It also proves advantageous if the rolls taking over the filament bundles are arranged horizontally side by side in such a manner that the distance between the rolls and the spinning nozzles (not shown) are equal.
A further advantageous possibility is seen in that duo-rolls are applied in order to increase the wrapping angle for reducing said difference between the wrapping angles percentage-wise.
