SOLENOID ATTACHMENT FOR LINEAR TO ANGULAR MOTION

Abstract

To facilitate mounting or dismounting of a battery in or from a motor-assisted bicycle and to improve the certainty of mounting the battery to a vehicular body. A battery put in a battery case 412 is contained in a battery box 16. a lock arm 51 with its battery case 412 is provided on a rear side wall of a box main body 161. when an upper lid 162 of the battery box is closed, the lock arm 51 is tilted to the battery case side by a suspended piece 53, to be engaged in the recess Rs. On the other hand, by opening the upper lid 162, the lock arm 51 is allowed to be retreated, whereby the engagement of the lock arm 51 in the recess Rs is released. The battery box 16 is mounted at the back of a seat post provided on a motor-assisted bicycle with its longitudinal direction extending along the longitudinal direction of the vehicular body.
