Raw tobacco is chewed, added to pan masala as Jarda and Inhaled as snuff with other Ingredients and also smoked as beedies, cigarettes, cigars and pipe are just variants of tobacco smoking. It is well known facts that smoke of tobacco cigarette contains lot of toxins which are dangerous to human beings and it is believed that there are more than 400 known chemicals some of which are Carcinogens, means chemical causing Cancer of Lungs. Along with other Respiratory diseases in human beings. As such no efforts are made over centuries to reduce the Toxicity of cigarettes except the introduction of filter in the cigarette industry has seen little change for the safety of the consumer. No steps has been taken to reduce the toxicity of the contents of smoke that is Inhaled. This invention is necessary step towards production of a better quality product, less harmful to human beings even if the consumption is more than normal.

Full Text	COMPLETE SPECIFICATION This invention is in general relates to human necessity. This invention in particulars relates to cigarette composition and the cigarette industry. This invention especially relates to manufacture of herbal cigarettes where in the composition of the cigarette naturally occurring bio - active material in the form of herbs are added. The purpose of adding herbal materials in the cigarette is explained herein. It is well known that use of tobacco in any form is injurious to human health. In most of the countries there is statutory warning according to the law of the land that use of tobacco in any from is injurious and it should be displayed in the cigarette. The tobacco contains about 400 toxic chemical which has been so for analysed. This toxic materials once absorbed in the system leads to various complication and deceases ranging from cough to cancer. Unfortunately tobacco consumption becomes in addiction to human beings. Thinking the above said facts in mind the present invention of using herbs of known medicinal value and anti toxic effects are judiciously employed such that use of tobacco in the cigarette form will lead tu uiinuhain or nullification of uio ham, effects normally occurring when the conventional tobacco is used alone. At the same time without sacrificing the stimulative effect of tobacco. This novel composition reduces the injury caused to the human beings because of tobacco consumption. It is the primary object of the invention to invent a novel herbal based cigarette. Now the invention will be described in detail: The composition of various ingredients in the said novel cigarettes is given in the ensuing description. Various raw- material and percentage of each raw-material in the composition of my novel herbal based cigarette composition is as follows: 1) Tobacco 50% 2) Tulasi & any other medicinal herbal material - 10% to 20% 3) Volume expanders 30 % to 40% The aforesaid Tulasi and other medicinal herbal material are processed so that they can be blended finely with the tobacco and volume expanders. The blending is effected in a known conventional manner. This blended material are converted into cigarettes by packing them in a column of paper and the product is ready for use. This salient feature of the invention is the reduction of tobacco content, in a normal conventional cigarette and replacing the volume of tobacco content by blend of herbal material and expanders. This results in excellent results in the application of novel herbal based cigarette. The herbal material used in the preparation of this novel cigarette has anti-toxic effect and known medicinal value. When the herbal material is blended with tobacco, the blended material is comparatively less harmful. Advantage : 1) The herbal material present along with the tobacco reduces the toxic effect of conventional tobacco containing cigarettes. 2) Effective utilization of herbal material which is found in abundance in nature. 3) Use of medicinal plants/ herbs with their known medicinal values will reduce the toxic effects on the human body. Now the invention will be described in detail:
The composition of various ingredients in the said novel cigarettes is given in the ensuing description.
Various raw- material and percentage of each raw-material in the composition of my novel herbal based cigarette composition is as follows:
1) Tobacco 50%
2) Tulasi & any other medicinal herbal material - 10% to 20%
3) Volume expanders 30 % to 40%
The aforesaid Tulasi and other medicinal herbal material are processed so that they can be blended finely with the tobacco and volume expanders. The blending is effected in a known conventional manner.
This blended material are converted into cigarettes by packing them in a column of paper and the product is ready for use.
This salient feature of the invention is the reduction of tobacco content, in a normal conventional cigarette and replacing the volume of tobacco content by blend of herbal material and expanders. This results in excellent results in the application of novel herbal based cigarette.
The herbal material used in the preparation of this novel cigarette has anti-toxic effect and known medicinal value. When the herbal material is blended with tobacco, the blended material is comparatively less harmful.
Advantage :
1) The herbal material present along with the tobacco reduces the toxic effect of conventional tobacco containing cigarettes.
2) Effective utilization of herbal material which is found in abundance in nature.
3) Use of medicinal plants/ herbs with their known medicinal values will reduce the toxic effects on the human body.

I CLAIM :
a) A novel herbal based Cigarettes containing the following compositions :
1) Tobacco and its products — 50% or more
2) Tulasi and any other medicinal herbal material — 10% to 20% or more
3) Volume expanders
