Title of Invention

A CHARKRA OVEN ADAPTED FOR REELING OF SILK YARN

Abstract A charka oven adapted for reeling of silk yam". A charka oven adapted for reeling of silk yam comprising:: a combustion chamber (5) within a brickwork (13); an inlet (8) at one end of said brickwork for introduction of fuel wherein said inlet extends into a passage (12) in flow communication with said combustion chamber; a flue gas outlet (10) in said brick work for discharge of flue gases; a basin (2) supported within said combustion chamber; a passage (7) in flow communication with said combustion chamber for supporting plates (6) at an angle of 35°.
Full Text This invention relates to a charaka oven adapted for reeling of silk yam.
Charakasystem of reeimg is known and in which reeling and cooking is carried out in the same device.
An oiyect of this invention is to propose a charaka oven adaptei for ruling of silk yam.
Another object of this invention is to propose a charaka oven adapted for reeling of silk yam which provides uniform heat to the plates.
Yet another object of this invention is to propose a charaka oven adapted for reeling of silk yam wherein the heat produced is utilized to a maximum level.
Still another object of this invention is to propose a charaka oven adapted for reeling of silk yam wherein the smoke level is not substanitial.
According to this invention there is provided a charaka oven adapted for reeling of silk yam comprising:

{a) a combustion chamber (5) within a brickwork (13);
{b) an iniet {8j at one end of said brickwork for introduction of fuel wherein said inlet extends into a passage (12) in flow communication with said combustion chamber;
{c| a flue gas outlet (10) in said brick work for discharge of flue gases;
(d) a bas in {2) supported within said combustion chamber,;
(e) a passage (7) in flow communication with said combustion chamber for supporting plates (6) at an angle of 35°.
Further objects and advant^es of this invention will be more apparrent from the ensuing description when read in conjunction with the SLCXxmipanyixig drawings and wherein:
Fig, 1 shows a frant elevational view of the charka oven Fig.2 shows a sectional view of the charka oven
The oven 1 of the present invention comprises a brickwall structure 13 having an upper platform 11. Structure 13 has a combusticm chamber 5, a copper basin 2 extending within said combustion chamber 5. Basin 2 is supports through a supporting rim 3.
Chamber 5 has an inlet 8 for introduction of fuel, such as husk, iniet 8 extends into a husk passage 12.

through 4" X 4" slot at top i.e. 4" from the edge of cooking basin. This leads to maximum, utilization of the heat produced, thereby saving the fuei and giving uniform heat with the plates placed at an angle of 35° to the hasin.
An advantage of the oven of the present invention is that any soft fuel canedbe fed thereto. Yet another advantage is that by providing the combustion chamber of nut a substantial volume, and the fuei gas passage being also small, the smoke level is reduced and heat produced is utilizaed upto a maximum extent.
Another invention resides in the oven, the charka is not illustrated.
