AN IMPROVED METHOD OF DETECTION OF TARGET NUCLEIC ACID SEQUENCE BY NUCLEIC ACID AMPLIFICATIION

Abstract Disclosure of a method for the detection and quantitiation of polynucleotide seauences in a sample of biological or non-biological material thrugh target poly nucleotide sequence amplification by polymerase chain reacton using chemically labeled oligonucleotide anmplification primers and formation of an entitybetween the amplified polynucleotide sequence and chemically labeled polynucleotide having a sequence complementary to the target polynucleetiode sequence for determing the identity and/or presence and/or quantitation of the target polynucleotide sequences. The chemical lable covaletly attached to the oligonucleotide amplification primer and polynucleotide or olignuclelotide comprise molecular enrgy transfer lables (donor and acceptor). it is again a very sensitive, rapid and reliable method with better sensitivity, specificity and reliability for the detection of polynculeotide sequence. it also greatly reduces the possibility of amplification product carry-over contamination and adaptable for many formats of nucleic acids amplifications and real time measurements.
