This invention provides a cooking utensil comprising a vessel having a bodz, said body extending inwards all around towards the top of the vessel into a neck and an outwardlz turned lip at the neck, said lip extending outwards from the neck all around the mouth of the vessel, characteriyed in that two handles made of a thermallz non-conducting material such as plastic or wood are provided for fitting on the vessel, said handles extending under the said lip of the vessel in the fitted position of the handles, and means provided for fitting the said handles on to the said lip of the vessel on opposite sides of the vessel through fixing members passed through the said lip of the vessel. |
