Abstract

(57) Abstract: An instant coconut chiller for cling the coconut water instantly, comprising a fibre glass body supporting and enclosing the whole unit, fitted with a stainless steel frame at the upper part of the said unit, having a see through top which in turn in provided with a coconut holder mouth made of stainless steel and fitted with a filter to trap small unwanted particles, a cool chest (refrigerated surface area) situated below the said coconut holder and is made of stainless steel connected to a compressor type refrigeration unit provided with automatic theremostat control to cool it to the desired temperature, said cool chest received flow of coconut water on it so as to cool it instantly and thereafter said water is allowed to be collected down into a containers/glass through an outlet tap. . The present invention relates to a coconut chiller and in particular, a machine which cools the coconut water instantly. Now of all the refreshing drinks the most perfect is the water of the unripe coconut because it is cooling, refrigerant, demulcent, aperients diuretic, appetizing and thirst quenching which last quality is rarely met with in the juice or water of other edible fruits not to speak of artificially manufactured drinks. Now a days people know the nutrient value of coconut water, all health conscious people are going for coconut water as an important diet. As such the sale of coconut have increased everywhere. But in summer coconut water is warm to drinks generally does not quench the thirst. People prefer cool coconut water. It may now be mentioned that at present it is known to use a device for cooling coconut water or other liquid, which consists of a closed water tight container for ice adopted to be immersed wholly in the coconut water or other liquid to be cooled substantially as and when required. In the art, it is found that there exist a process for charging the water present within coconut shells with carbonic acid or other like gas so as to have the same in the form of aerated water, bottle it and cool it in a ice box before the same is sold to the customers. It is also known and adopted in practice to use a transportable refrigeration cargo container or unit, the cargo space of which together with the cooonutshel1s can be ohi11ed. It is now observed that in all the conventional device there exists some or other disadvantages. For first case it is very crude device and takes lot of time to cool the said liquid. In later cases on account of the unusual size and weight of the nuts the cost of transport are to be too much and necessarily the retail selling price considerable. Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a coconut chiller which is novel in its construction and obviates all disadvantages and drawbacks associated with the conventional chiller for nuts existing in the art. A further object of the present invention is to provide a coconut chiller which is simple in its construction easy to fix and easy to operate continuously. Another object of the present invention is to provide a coconut chiller which is elegant in its appearance, cheaper in original costs, stronger in its construction and lighter in its weight. Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a coconut chiller which is totally resistant to 1iquid/atomospheric corrosion. Yet a still further object of the present invention is to provide a coconut chiller which is ideal in ensuring longer life for usage. Keeping the above objects in mind, the present invention is to provide a coconut chiller for cooling the coconut water instantly, comprising a fibre glass body fitted with stainless steel frame and see through top, a coconut holder situated at the top and is made of stainless steel which in turn is fitted with a filter to trap small unwanted particles, the refrigerated surface area situated below the coconut holder is also made of stainless steel adopted to receive flow of coconut water on it and cool it instantly thereafter said water is allowed to be collected down into a glass through an outlet, a compressor type refrigeration unit is provided with automatic thermostat control. An instant coconut chiller as claimed in claims 1 & 2 wherein One said coconut holder/mouth is provided with a stainless steel place to cover the mouth for avoiding dust or dirt enteric into it when it is not in use.
